I liked seeing your pictures. Did Caleb tell you that he had DISers on his banana boat. Lisa, Jim & I, along with Lauren (WVMD's DD) were on the same boat with Larry and Caleb. It was a lot fun. I am all for the "Do over" idea. Like a number of people have said, there were a number of people I wanted to meet, that I never did. So, I guess we need to try again.
Larry did tell me, but I had forgotten. I so wanted to be there. I have added it to our personal trip report.

Not sure what going on. I haven't been able to sign-in using the "good" computer all day. So, I'm using the clunker computer now. Any ideas Mark? Guess I'll just stay signed in here.

We put our bag to good use today. The girls had swimming lessons at the indoor pool at the Y today. The outdoor pool is open now and the girls' lessons are back-to-back (not at the same time). I hung out at the pool with one while the other was in lessons. The bag was perfect ... able to pack towels, snack & drinks in to one bag.

Sorry to say don't have any updates other than something's seriously messed up and it's still being worked on.

I think you're right!! But it looks like everybody gave up! Is this the record for least posts in one day?!!!

Hey! Glad you heard from Matt. :thumbsup2 You had to brag to us about where you were when he called though, didn't you?!! :rotfl2:

(I did it again - another B.O.P. - I'm good at those!!)

And that brings me to what you've all been talking about. Which Mary and I talked about some over dinner and before the movie.

Would be happy to cruise again in '08, later in the spring the better as far as I'm concerned. I'm happy with what's being tossed around, June Eastern works for me, might just be late enough I can get all the gardening done before we go away.

Oh Mark/Mary -- goodie, goodie, goodie. Maybe we can share at BWV again:goodvibes

And a UTOP to boot. Just doing the Virgil thingy and didn't realize where we were at.

Do I hear a hint of discontent????

Here in Albuquerque, it takes even MORE imagination........

Same here in El Paso. The Rio Grande river does nothing for me:rotfl2:

Okay -- all caught up now. Glad the boards were slow today so I didn't have as much to read up. After two grueling day back at work, I got to spend today in my car for 13 hours. The kids and I left this morning and started out towards my parents house to pick up our dog. We drove to Ozona, Texas, met my parents, sat and visited outside in the shade before grabbing lunch at the DQ (Dairy Queen) for those of you on the East Coast and then turned around and drove back to El Paso. Charley had to work tonight, so he couldn't go with us. Good thing Dale had his permit, because I had him drive part of the way. First time out on the open road instead of intown driving. He did a good job.

Now we are back home and I am beat. at least I have tomorrow to catch up before starting back up on Monday. I am trying to keep my system on East Coast time. I have been going to bed before 9 p.m. and am getting up a little after 4 a.m. Ashley has started her swimming workouts and they are at 6 a.m. across town. I stay till a little before 7 then head on into work I am going to try and leave work everyday by 4 instead of staying late like I usually do. We will see how that works.

Did anyone else get their packet from Disney that booked another cruise on the ship. Had two really nice postcards that I think Will make great door magnets.

It was a nice surprise when I got home today.

I am so sad that this vacation is over. It is so hard to get back into things. I think I need to book a little mini vacation for later in the summer. I got one of those timeshare promotions in the mail today for a new resort in San Antonio. Looks pretty cool, maybe a late summer weekend, hmmmmm

The boards were kind of broke most of the day so I think that is the major slow down. Couldn't do any replies but the quick ones.

Pam - your packet sounds neat. We didn't rebook onboard (we should have) but if 2008 dates aren't out by the time of the Member Cruise we'll book onboard then.

The sad part is that Matt started the conversation with, "Hi Dad, how's Stonewoods?" I guess we are just to predictable.

That is what Sharon keeps saying, but I have to keep reminding her that we have no idea if or what we will be doing in 2008 because that is the year that Matt graduates. :cool1:

Good Morning All - I see Jim is already up.....Slep tight westcoasters......

I trust you all had a good Saturday??? Ours was productive if not tiring...we attempted to tackle the garden which had once again become a jungle...Out at 7:00 and in at noon - Sam had gone to the Fresh Market for yummy chicken sausages...5 kinds - pepper- yummy- apple-yummy- beer and bar - yummy - blueberry - no thanks, feta and spinach - likewise....a nice long nap follwed, and then more work, this time weeding.....needless to say dinner was salad after all that....

Today, well, I am a wee bit sore. Debating wheter to tackle more gardening, so much to do, and go to late church??? Must have coffee first...

How was your day - I will go see...

Is anyone else having troubel posting this morning?

The 'Quick Reply' box at the bottom of the thread DOES work, you just need to click on the icon that looks like a pencil and paper in someone's post to activate it.
