And another school closed day....can I throw a tantrum now??

from the Midwest, then traveling to the Northeast again!!;) ;)

Go ahead - throw a tantrum ;)

Ill join you for the tanrum. Looks like another 8+ inches here. This is getting way out of control. All I have to say is if they hit us with the big "drought scare" again this summer, Ill scream! :p

You can send some this way - all we have had is a couple of dustings

We were supposed to get up to 8" yesterday but ended up with between 1"-2"... hopefully you will get the same results!!

they are calling for 24 to 36 inches here. hopefully they are wrong.

I'll take some of that snow! The least you guys could do is post some pictures so those of us down here who dont get snow could take a peek. :p

You could send some this way! We're having our 5th year of drought!

I am getting so jealous reading all these snow posts. I got really excited last night when it started snowing here:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: we got a light dusting and then it stopped:( Went to bed hoping it would start again but it didnt, it just froze!!!

Send some snow my way, PLEASE!

we are in for a blizzard too......we had 18 inches on christmas night and now we are in for at least that much ....possibly more......I do dislike the white stuff

Kanga...Look UP......that should give you a pretty good indication of where it's coming from..... ;) :p

Marie, they are calling for 15-20" right now....we have about 6 on the ground but they said in the afternoon and at night it will be the worst. I hope they get it wrong!!

Hey mskanga - I remember reading on another post somewhere that you are from around Tobyhanna... We're just a little north of Scranton, so I know how you feel! We were going to and from WDW for the 1st 2 snow/ice storms in December, so this is only our second major snowfall and I've HAD it!!! It makes me want to move to Florida and work at WDW (only 28 years left until I can retire...)

I think they were a little off with the forecast here though (no big surprise if you watch the Scranton stations), it looks like there's only about 5-6" on the ground. I know we had a lot of sleet earlier, and we were originally in the 12" of snow area.

AAAAAHHHHHHH! And it's only January 3rd!!!

Was it only a few months ago that I wished I lived in Alaska?
