Ill join you for the tanrum. Looks like another 8+ inches here. This is getting way out of control. All I have to say is if they hit us with the big "drought scare" again this summer, Ill scream!
I am getting so jealous reading all these snow posts. I got really excited last night when it started snowing here we got a light dusting and then it stopped Went to bed hoping it would start again but it didnt, it just froze!!!
we are in for a blizzard too......we had 18 inches on christmas night and now we are in for at least that much ....possibly more......I do dislike the white stuff
Marie, they are calling for 15-20" right now....we have about 6 on the ground but they said in the afternoon and at night it will be the worst. I hope they get it wrong!!
Hey mskanga - I remember reading on another post somewhere that you are from around Tobyhanna... We're just a little north of Scranton, so I know how you feel! We were going to and from WDW for the 1st 2 snow/ice storms in December, so this is only our second major snowfall and I've HAD it!!! It makes me want to move to Florida and work at WDW (only 28 years left until I can retire...)
I think they were a little off with the forecast here though (no big surprise if you watch the Scranton stations), it looks like there's only about 5-6" on the ground. I know we had a lot of sleet earlier, and we were originally in the 12" of snow area.
AAAAAHHHHHHH! And it's only January 3rd!!!
Was it only a few months ago that I wished I lived in Alaska?
