So Sarah's birthday is the 17th - pirate night. She wanted a tiara from WDW and I found this one online - so I got it for her and I'm bringing it with me... any ideas on how to present it to her? I thought about stopping by guest svcs and seeing if they had any ideas, like seeing if a Princess can coronate her at one of the character greetings... or maybe do you think have the dining staff place it on a plate with a dessert in the center? (she loves dessert!) and pipe "Happy Birthday Princess Sarah" around the edge of the plate or something? In which case I'd need to confer with our head server when we get there....

OK - starting to feel the pressure now!!! My darling husband brought the luggage down from the attic - and I keep walking past them with the intention of starting the packing process... I feel like Santa - :santa:making my lists and checking them twice.. :rotfl2: The multiple parades to and from my laundry room have begun, and I am gearing up to get it done...:laundy:

I have my appointments for hair, manicure, and spray tan ready to go!!

We fly in to Orlando early afternoon on Saturday - i'm hoping to weasel in a short trip into the Magic Kingdom, just to get a little sprinkling of Pixie Dust pre-cruise...

:woohoo:

Remember to steer clear of the hot tubs when you spray tan... the hot water and chlorine will make them fade fast and it will end up in the tub meaning they will need to be cleaned more frequently :rolleyes1
:wizard: have fun in MK!!!!

I just got my dd one like that too at Ardene's or Claire's. She is still going to dress up this year with the princesses! :)
:lovestruc

Oh no, DD just busted me making Mickey Ears for our stateroom door! She was suppose to be napping and I was admiring my work and turn around and she is standing behind me with a grin from ear to ear. I quickly told her she was suppose to be napping and to go back to bed!

In the 30 minutes I made her remain in her room, I was trying to figure out what to tell her they were for. Her cousin just returned from WDW, so I told her they were a craft I was working on for her cousin. I really don't think she bought it!

I stink at this surprise the kids things because I am to excited.

I got a "test" Mystic Tan HD last week to see how I liked it before the cruise. It looks really good....but one thing. Be sure to put the cream on your hands and feet as instructed (between fingers/toes). I did, and figured my hands were okay since that's what I used to put the lotion on....but I ended up with orange palms!! Besides that, it looked pretty natural!!

I made my Pirate night shirts (iron-ons) last night and packed them, so all clothes are now packed, with the exception of Sarah's extra swimsuit and 2 skirts, due in from Lands End tomorrow hopefully.

Everything else is last minute - chargers, phones, curling iron, toothbrushes... Luckily we leave midday so there won't be staying up late or a half-asleep morning rush.

The rain in the extended forecast is freaking me out but I'm just going to have to deal with it. Like they say, a rainy day at Disney World is a hundred times better than a sunny day anywhere else.

Hi, I wasn't sure if you were aware or not that Sears has Land's End in their store! I wasn't happy with the fit of my swimsuit I ordered from them, so I went to Sears and bought the one that I thought was cute in the cataloge, but didn't think it'd look good on me. (It's the coral poka dot skirt and top). It's the best I could find trying on....not that I really look great in anything!! Then I had to find something to put over it, because there's no way I'm strutting this body anywhere in a swimsuit! :rotfl: Maybe I should have just got shorts and tee shirt to wear over my underwear to swim in.

We are in Orlando! We are heading to MK in the morning. The temperature is suppose to reach record highs. Can't wait for tropical breezes!

Sarah is a plus size and it's hard to find anything in the stores :( Justice doesn't carry her size in store either - I always have to order it online. I'm a plus size too and I hate having to online shop and not know fit/fabric :(

Just wanted to say Hi!

I don't want to seem like an intruder because I see that most of you have been talking on these boards for quite some time, but I just thought I would say Hi!

I am so very excited about this cruise, which is our first.

It's me, Courtney, DH - Mike and DD -3 Reese.

Wishing everyone a magical cruise!

Well, I'm driving to the mall, and what's this I see? SNOW!!!! Yeppers, snow in May! Our high today is supose to be in the 40s. I. Can't. Wait. This time tomorrow we will be on the plane to FL and all this rush, rush, rush will be over.

Hi There!!! Welcome aboard!!! You are going to have a great time!!

We have a meet time and place set up, in case you would like to come and meet some fellow cruisers - We plan to meet at Currents on deck 13 at 3pm

Well, I'm down to my last hour here at work. I have printed and laminated all my door signs... last minute packing checklist is printed out and ready to go. Just bought my Universal Studios AP online... what am I forgetting? Seems like it should be more complicated but this is the first trip we've taken where I've been done packing so far in advance... it's a bit freaky!

Oh, I'm so jealous, it's been two years since we've been to US, and I'm craving me some wild rides!!! You're doing great...I just found what I thought I'd be up all night looking for (camera battery charger) so I'm really happy!! This time tomorrow we'll be in our inlaw's car driving towards Vero Beach :banana::banana:

BTW, I accidently gave an incorrect cabin #, our's is 10024. :goodvibes I need to print the first page so I can remember everybody's names!

FYI, we are dressing up for the Pirate Party....If anyone needs some glitter for their themselves or little princesses, I'm bringing tons of it....roll on, spray on, powder on. :cutie: feel free to borrow!

HA HA -- well, better late than never. Just found this thread. We're on the same sailing -- leave tomorrow for two nights at WDW and we'll be doing a post-cruise 3-nights at Universal (too close not to visit Harry Potter).

The world might actually come to an end -- first time in travel history I completely finished packing two nights in advance! I feel like I should be worrying about something, but all the park tickets and Blue Man Group tickets are packed, luggage tags done and forms in envelope for signing at port. I honestly don't know how to have the night before a trip "off" :confused3:rotfl:

Hope you all have safe travels. See you in the crowds at the port waiting for the elusive boarding number :lmao:

I'm here sitting at the gate waiting for my flight to board - so excited to sail the Dream!!!! Safe travels to everyone - hope to see you on board!!!!!
