Nice timing! That's actually not easy to do! I tried for a half hour on the Hurricane Hilary PC cruise, and finally got one similar to that. We were in 27-30 foot seas at the time, what's it at for you?? Bring on the meclazine!

Does anyone know if you can use VoIP like the one on Yahoo! Messenger- or has DCL blocked all sites like skype? Now that many of the Instant Messenger sites offer the ability to call other computer and phones- can they block them all? If you use one of the laptops- could you plug in a mic if you had one?


I really don't want to bring my laptop.

Can you hook your camera onto their laptops?

Can someone look at the computers or ask?

Skype is blocked. Not sure about voice on Yahoo Messenger. But AIM and messenger itself work fine.

I have not seen any laptops to be used. Just the desktop type in the Promanade Lounge and Cove Cafe. So you can not hook up a camera or anything to it.

We have arrived in Cadiz!!

Safe and sound after another rocky night. We just keep following this weather system. It was in the mid 60's at sea yesterday and VERY windy. This morning it is overcast and rained a bit this morning and threatening to do more.

Jim Brickman will be performing tonight. That should be a good show. Last night was the talent show.

Heading off to see the Horses in Seville tonight.

On board time tonight is 10:30 pm.

Tomorrow Gibraltar!

Even if Skype was enabled I wonder how well it would work on the Magic's network, which can be intermittent. Probably OK, but delays and voice quality would suffer.
