Rochelle I agree, cute purse! And you SHOULD open a boutique. You are so creative!!
Thank you! :)

Well, if you have to fart something, it might as well be flowers. At least they smell pretty.

I agree!! :rotfl:

Unfortunately for your friend, house training requires a lot of patience and a meticulous schedule. It doesn't take long to house train a dog if you're dedicated. I'd much rather put in the work than clean up the pee in the house :)

That's what I was thinking too when she told me. I would honestly prefer to spend the money to have a dog trained then to let it run amuck in the house and pee everywhere. :scared:

Everyone have a great Friday night! :dance3:
You too!!

That would be fun! I loved what I saw of Seattle and if I had to go again I would not need much arm twisting!
Cool, let's make it happen.

Beth thanks for asking about mom and thanks to all the others who have wished her well/asked about her. As I mentioned she has a sinus infection and the doc gave her some antibiotics (I think the box said zithromax) and he gave her some cough syrup with codeine.
I hope that helps her get better fast.

Still trying to figure out what it is that I know im going to forget to pack...lol
I have a small little packing list that I like to use when I travel.... :rolleyes1

AmyOkraSue
:confused3 That's it?? I'm disappointed.

Do I log into my own shutterfly account and upload my pic's somewhere to share from that, or do I just log into the Diva shutterfly account directly to upload them?
Hope that makes sense...LOL
I don't know for sure, but I'd just add them directly to our account.

Otherwise, I felt fine so had no idea I was sick until I saw all the spots on Monday!
I'm glad it hasn't been bad for you.

So ... somebody just got home from seeing Alice. And her name starts with a J!!

Joleen?
Juju?
Jade?
Jacinda?

I give up. :confused3 :p

The Jabberwock, of course.

That's OK ... "I think you might do something better with the time than wasting it in asking riddles that have no answers."

:3dglasses give me a headache by the way!

But regardless, I loved the movie. It wasn't what I expected and I don't like the casting choice for Alice (something about her totally put me off), but I left the theater with a smile on my face. I've heard a lot of negativity about the movie and I just don't get where it's all coming from :confused3 I guess people are just going in with these huge expectations. Don't. It's the worst thing you could do for any movie. It's called suspension of disbelief for a reason.

Futterwacken = weirdest out of nowhere random dance ever.

We may go see Alice tonight or tomorrow night. I'm sooo excited!!

All you sickies, please feel better soon.

And guess what I'm doing? Making a Facebook! Shows how much I love you ALL! :)

We are a pretty lovable bunch! I'm glad you're coming over to the dark side!

First off, Tina, I am so very sorry about your kitty. We went through it last year. It was very emotional for me. Hugs to you my friend.

Courtney, I have a FB page too, but can't keep up with this and that. I check it once a day or so, but spend much more time here. :lovestruc

Pixie dust to all those who are sick. It's No Fun To Be Sick. That Berenstain Bears book was Breezy's favorite when she was little. I had to read it about 80,000 times!

Happy weekend everyone.:cutie:

Hi ladies! I tried to read back, but I am just not patient enough. I am trying to mess around on FB and get homework done too...hahaha, RIGHT! I can't even chew gum and type at the same time.

Tina, so sorry about your little kitty :sad1:.. it is the worst feeling in the world, having to make that decision.

To all the ladies dealing with being sick...I am so sorry!! I just got over having the flu, so I understand. Hope you all get better now!!

I feel your pain. Hang in there!
I don't know what it is with me and the guys I date. It seems like just about every guy I seriously date turns out to have issues with their mood/depression. I thought this one may have been a keeper, but I don't know, there is something about a guy who gets upset about everything that just has me worried. I am starting to learn that almost every man on earth must get their own form of PMS. He is betchy this week. Stay away.

Everyone seeing Alice in Wonderland, post what you think about it! I really want to go see it for Dawn, but I so rarely go to the movie theater, it's too expensive and people can be so rude.

No exciting plans for me this weekend. I'm suppose to go to a surprise b-day party tomorrow, but I'm still trying to recover from the Diva trip so I don't know if I'll make it. :confused3

Wendy, I really want to see Alice in Wonderland. I have no other friends who want to see it and I worry that Maddie will get freaked out. To those who have seen it, is it too much for a 5 year old girl?

Why are men so . . . . .not like women? BTDT recently and off the wagon for the time being. Just know that there are a group of Divas who are prepared to attack men with blunt instruments if a guy treats one of their sister Divas badly!

Aw, Cheryl! Men make jokes about women and their moods. Puh-lease!!And thanks for the Diva-support---I also am prepared to attack. I drive around with an aluminum bat in my backseat. :teeth:

Hi everyone!

I'm super-new to the boards. I've been lurking for a couple of months but haven't posted as I don't have much good advice to pass along to others amongst all of the experts here!

I'd like to join in...your 3rd trip sounded so fun. I'd love to be part of the next.

My name is Katey, I live in Oregon with my husband and 3 kids. I'm a west coast girl so I grew up going to Disneyland. We typically make it every couple of years. In fact, we are going at the end of April this year which is how I found these boards.

Looking forward to getting to know all of you! :cutie:
Welcome Katey! Where in Oregon are you from? The Divas are the best!! :dance3:

January--my blunt weapon of choice is a bowling trophy. Just saying!!

I would love to put my chihuahua in obedience training. :cloud9: He is a pain in the butt cheek.

And I like that weapon of choice. :thumbsup2

I love the Berenstein Bears!! I had so many of those books when I was a kid.:goodvibes

Was there anymore talk on a meet in Seattle? I think that is where it was? It would be really cool to join in if I could find a good price on airfare.
Yes, we are still planning a Seattle meet this summer! It looks like it could be quite a big group, depending on who can make it. In the general area I counted Sarah, Tracey, Deb, Laurie, Theresa, Patty, Angie, Capri, Callie, me and it looks like we might have a couple more joining us. Oh, and Kelly wants to come too and of course everyone else is welcome to come! I was thinking about starting a planning thread soon, beginning with taking suggestions for dates. I was thinking we could plan a Friday-Sunday trip with Saturday being the main day with a family-friendly activity. Then those of us who want to spend the whole weekend could do some smaller get-togethers on the other days. I for sure want to hit Starbucks/Pikes and also the Experience/SciFi Museum, and maybe a meal at the Space Needle. Right now my head is still spinning from the Diva trip and thinking about next year's dates. Maybe this weekend I will get something started.

Oh fun! We could do a meet and greet / wine tasting / cocktail hour at my place! :)
