Would DD be too young for this experience? Do the sign ups go crazy quick?

Four is the youngest age to participate. My oldest did it at 5. I wasn't sure one of my four year olds would listen well enough this spring so we skipped it and will wait until he's a little older.

I'm sure it depends on the overall crowd levels and times of year but when we went there were plenty of times still open at over an hour after park opening. There was no line or mad rush either. All the morning shows were booked but there were still lots of openings mid afternoon through evening which worked out great because we chose after dinner. We go during average crowd levels typically. In the dead of summer or peak seasons it probably goes faster.

All depends on your kid. My newly turned 4 year old was fine and loved it. My friend's 5 year old didn't want to do it and they forced him and then he had to be taken off the stage because he was hysterical. Basically follow your kid's cues.

Our 5 and 9 did it a few weeks ago. Most of the kids were 4 and 5. The cast does a great job helping younger kids to have fun with it. There is nothing to it, and they will have fun no matter what. I'd definitely do it. We went right to sign up at rope drop and got the first show.

Does your DD have an awareness of the SW characters? Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, and the Seventh Sister are in this updated show.

My CM friend was in the original show and many kids did not enjoy the experience. Some literally ran off the stage areas when Darth Maul appeared.

If you aren't sure about your DD, you can watch a current video of Jedi Training Trials of the Temple to see a complete show with your DD and see if it is of interest to her.

We signed up our 4 yo (along with 7yo), he got the Jedi robe on and everything and then chickened out. I felt really bad that we had wasted a slot for someone else. Unless they are really into SW, I would skip it. It is a huge PITA to sign up for.

My cousins and nephew all did it at 4, one turned 4 on the trip. All loved it!

You know your child, some kids are more scared of things than others.

If you think they'll be fine, go with it! :)
