4 ppl going but only paying for 2

Hey guys I have a question! We are going to Orlando in July for my dd dance meeting. Now my husband and son will be going as we'll but they will not be coming to the meeting. So my question is, have you ever paid for less ppl but more ppl was in your room? Like I will only pay for my husband and son to stay in the room, park tickets and meal plan BUT me and my daughter will be in the room and I will pay for 2 park tickets. Me and dd will not be able to go to the park all week cause of her dance meeting. So that's why I just want to pay for to ppl for the package

Everybody staying in the room has to be on the reservation, have the same amount of tickets and be on the same meal plan. If you want to ADD PPL to the reservation upon check in then they won't have to have the same tickets and meal plan as the 2 ppl you booked in the room to begin with. But having 4 ppl in the room when you only have 2 ppl on the reservation is against Disney policy and discussing ways to get around Disney rules is against DISboard policy. SO this might get closed.

Im sure people have done it, but no it is not allowed to have more people in your room than are on the reservation. And if you were to do it, you and DD would not have a room key as the 2 room keys given to DH and DS would also be their park tickets

Your options are
1. make reservation for DH and DS and add you and DD when you arrive (this option would not allow you and DD to ride ME)
2. make a room only reservation with all 4 of you, purchase park tickets separately either directly through Disney or a second party outfit and pay out of pocket for meals

You would book your DH and DS with a package (room + tix + DDP) and then add yourself and your DD to the room when you check in. You will have to buy park tickets and pay for your and your DD's meals OOP, but both of you will still get a KTTW card for room access and EMH. The only problem will be if you need DME. If you and your DD are not on the reservation from the beginning, the two of you will not be able to use DME to the resort. But you can be added to the room at check in and not have to have tickets & DDP.

You're welcome . Just make sure your DH is there with you as he will have to check in and add you and DD to the room since the reservation will be in his name.

I'd suggest JUST booking the room for the four of you (this is required - and you are going to need the room keys, anyway). All of you can ride DME if you want.

Buy tickets separately for DH and DS when you get there (at concierge when you check in) to be put on KTTW card.

Your dance event for you and DD "might" have specials on after 4pm tickets - or you can just buy park ticket as needed. Sometimes "conference tickets" have to be bought in advance - so pay attention.

I'd skip the meal plan this trip. I'd guess not even your DH and DS will truly use it to its fullest this particular time. Maybe do a grocery delivery if you want to cut the cost of breakfast and snacks, but really, are your two guys going to really use the dining plan effectively? Maybe they are... you know them best. But my dad and brother (touring as the two boys) would have eaten a few snacks throughout the day and never really even sat down for a counter service meal - well - maybe for a late dinner. That would not have been the same behavior if the four of us were touring.
