Unfortunately, I wasn't able to talk with my sister this past weekend... but she is definitely coming home this weekend, and we will make time to talk about our trip!

One thing I did manage to do since my last update was call to confirm our ADRs. I made all our ADRs online but we had a situation on our last trip that I want to avoid in the future...

On my family's 1st WDW trip, I made our ADRs over the phone (and with an actual person, not an automated system). Our 2nd trip, last October, we made the ADRs online. Didn't have any problems... or so I thought.

The first full day of our trip was spent at MK... we had an ADR for lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. When it's time for our lunch, we made our way to LTT and I walked up to check us in... and was told our ADR could not be found.

After just a minute or two (but honestly felt like a lifetime!) our ADR was found... but it wasn't for that Monday. It was for a week prior! Apparently, what happened was, when DH was making the ADRs online, he clicked on the wrong date on the calendar that pops up.

Thankfully, they were able to work us in and I think we just had to wait about 20 - 30 minutes. We had a very nice lunch... but the rest of the day all I could think was, "What if all our other ADRs are wrong? What if DH accidentally did the same thing for all our other meals?" As soon as we got back to our resort later that night, I made a beeline for the concierge desk! They were able to look up the rest of our ADRs and verified all were for the correct dates. WHEW!

It did all work out but I was a nervous wreck until I was able to confirm all the other ADRs were correct. I definitely don't want that to happen again, so I called to confirm and reassure myself that all is ok with our ADRs!

Seriously, I was making myself sick with worry... DH had to tell me numerous times that day to stop obsessing, that everything would be fine. My main concern was that two of our upcoming ADRs were character meals (lunch at Akershus and breakfast at Crystal Palace) and I didn't think those places would be able to work us in as LTT had.

Totally loving the random photos!

It's hard to narrow down my favorite attraction at AK ... but probably the Safaris. I love EE as well, but the Safaris we can ride as a family (since DH/DS don't do "thrill" rides).

Am not sure what my favourite AK ride will be. At the minute I am thinking it will be Kali River Rapids as I will be looking forward to getting soaked in the heat! However that could change

Loving your photo of the prayer flags! What a great idea... the random photos! My favorite ride at Animal Kingdom is definitely the safari! My kids love it too! I think what I like the most about it is that the view always changes... we once saw the male lion standing proudly on the rocks roaring and just last week the cheetahs who are usually hiding in this back seemed to be posing just to have their photos taken!

I think what I like the most about it is that the view always changes... we once saw the male lion standing proudly on the rocks roaring and just last week the cheetahs who are usually hiding in this back seemed to be posing just to have their photos taken!

Oh I didn't know there were cheetahs! Apparently we've not been lucky enough to see them.

KS ranks high on my list. In fact, I think I'd put KS at #2... and EE at #1! I didn't get a chance to ride EE on our 2007 trip... I couldn't talk my oldest DD into going on it with me (she was 6 at the time) and since DH had to stay with our youngest DD (who was just 4 and not tall enough), that meant I would have had to ride by myself. On our 2010 trip, I was determined we would all go on EE, and we did! My oldest DD and I even rode it twice... LOVE this coaster!

We rode KRR on our 2007 and loved it. I didn't go on it during our 2010 trip, but the rest of the family did. I was able to get a few pics of them in the raft... maybe I'll have to post one as a Random WDW Photo of the Week!

Oh, and trust me... you WILL get soaked!

How cool! On our trip last October we were lucky enough to see a baby elephant! I can't remember how old the guide said it was, but it was relatively young. Unfortunately, it was facing the wrong way so the only pics I have of it are of it's backside!

We rode Dinosaur on our trip last October... we missed it on our 2007 trip, so it was new to all of us. Ummmm... I didn't like it. But that's the beauty of WDW, right? There are plenty of attractions to suit everyone!

Mmmmmmm, the Canyon Skillet. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!
