Been getting some prices for 2 adults 2 kids to stay at A lake Buena Vista/I drive hotel for October 07..
All seem to be coming out about £4,000 including car insurance!!
That is way too high..!
Can anyone give me advice of where to get a good price from..Everyone seems to be hammering on these fuel surcharges..!

Thanks guys..

hiya we are travelling with travel city direct, june 07, paying 3115 for 4 adults and 1 child staying at the enclave suites, a 2 bedroom suite with 8 seater car and premium insurance. Just something to think about! :tinker: :dumbo: :stitch: :sulley: :maleficen :ccat:

Thanks! Ill check it out If I cant shear a Good Grand off that price we wont be going,No Way with spends and tickets youd be looking at 7!! Thats a great car!

Just had a look at travel city direct for you, 2 weeks 12th October, 2 adults 2 children, Fully insured 2 door Intremediate car, (Platinum Insurance). Homewood Suites International drive, this is a fantastic hotel with a free hot breakfast every day and free drinks and snacks Monday to Thursday(beer and wine). Total price £3006. Flying from Manchester.

wayneg pointed out for staying at courtyard for marriott would be about £525 for 2 weeks plus book flights and car separate could work out quite a bit cheaper

We always find booking everything seperate the best way,
We go next week for 3 1/2 week (25 nights)
This is what we paid for 3 adults
3 flights £957 BMI via chicago
Hotel LBV £625
Full size car top ins. £510
Total £2,092

Then we added a 4 night Royal Caribbean cruise £567

We have stayed at Homewood suites near Universal and can highly recommend, Breakfast every morning and 4 nights a week managers reception free food and drinks incl beer. We got a fantastic rate of £22/night it must have cost them for us to stay for 3 weeks.

You are too early for booking flight only. can only book 11 months from your return date unless you are near Glasgow and use Globespan which are onsale now.

I find the best way to find cheaper holidays is to do an on-line search; 'cheap Orlando flights', cheap Orlando hotels'. Get yourself a hefty notepad and make yourself some notes.

Then, when you think you've found a good holiday, come back here and ask for other people's experiences.

I've been looking recently and I've shaved about £2000 from a travel agents quote and that's just for two adults!

We have used Jetsave for ours this time with Virgin flights out of Man.Check out the Comfort Inn LBV-kidsuite -cheap & cheerful or maybe Springhill suites at Little Lake Bryan at LBV,you normally can get good prices on these
SD :thumbsup2

going in sept 2 adults
flights with my travel £560
hotel; with find orlandorooms £20 per room up to four people quality inn maingate west (includes continental breakfast
car hire all-states car hire £198 including insurance
i realize that the flights and car hire will have to take into account the two children but it is possible to reduce the price :thumbsup2

Here's a laugh for you!

I just priced up for CBR aug next year with TCD(wouldn't really want to book with them again, just to see what prices were) and Virgin:

TCD 19 Aug 07, 14nts water view, with pre seating and extra baggage, car and compulsory car ins - £3900
Virgin 21 Aug, 14nts water view, with car but no ins - £3500

Is the sky falling down???!!!! There's something very wrong there!

Lynn

Four adults, two weeks this october, £1387 with TCD - sunshine upper and intermediate car inc insurance/taxes etc, plus villa £900 (heated pool) = £2287
