I just called to book our room at POP in August. Four of us were planning to stay in one room to save some money. When I told the agent she told me that Disney will not allow four adults to stay in one room, that we would have to get two. I am not trying to be sneaky or get away with anything... we are just trying to conserve as much money as possible on our vacation. We are only staying two nights. Does anyone know why this is the case or if it is definetly true? I hope my friend doesn't back out now because I really want to stay there. :sad1:

I have never heard of 4 adults being unable to stay in one room. A room with two full size beds sleeps four!! I am staying in a room with my inlaws for one night at POP. Then my boyfriend and I are switching over to SSR for the remainder of our trip.

Call back - that CM was wrong -

You can DEFINITELY book four adults for a room at Pop Century. However, there will be a surcharge for adults 3 and 4.:)

As someone who has not once.. but TWICE in the last 12 months stayed with four adults (admittedly who ACTED like children the entire time) ... this can be done. There is a surcharge for adults 3 and 4 .. and that surcharge applies per adult / per night.

That CM was HORRIBLY misinformed. Try again.

I think whomever you spoke to misunderstood something. Four adults are alllowed in the room, unless you have a room with a king bed. There is an extra charge for each adult over 2 adults, it might be about $15 or so per person so each night will cost you about $30 extra

I think for the value resorts its just $10 per night extra per person. I don't know how much the moderates are but the deluxes are $25 more per night/per person.

The CM doesn't know what she is talking about. The rooms allow 4 people doesn't matter if they are adults or children. There is a small surcharge for any adult over 2 but you can still book the room for 4 adults. Just call Disney back and hopefully you'll get a CM that knows what they are doing.

Keep in mind the 2 other people will not get keys or resort ID's. Can't go to EMH.

One couple has 1 key, the other couple has the second key. Voila problem solved; been there, done that.;)

Each guest needs a room key for EMH, they sometimes scan and will see only two staying in the room. We've always needed all our keys to get our entire party wristbands.

My results have been the opposite. My wife and i use one card, while the other party goes through a different line and uses a separate card. If asked, we just tell them that we left the other room key back in the room. It's worked 100% of the time as they're not trying to give guests who have a confirmed room key a hard time. Now if either guest doesn't have a room key, then it's easy to see not getting in. :hippie:

Thanks everyone, I am going to call again. In regards to the keys, I was told we specifically HAVE to report 4 people so we get 4 keys.... Hopefully that is the case!! Thanks for your help!

you can have 4 adults in one room and each will get a room key. I stayed at CSR last year with 2 rooms (connecting.) There were 6 adults and 1 child. (Me, DH, DS, DD and her friends) We paid $15 per extra adult per night and everyone received a resort room key. This year my DD and her friends are booked at the pop with 4 in a room. There is a $10 surcharge per extra adult.

When I called back the person I spoke with didn't give me a hard time at all about four adults in a room. She asked for everyones names, I confirmed two beds (she said she wouldn't have us pile everyone on top of each other- haha) and she said we would each get our own key for the EMH and transportation. We just had to pay $10 per person per night for the extra adults. Checked my confirmation as well...

Thanks everyone from your help! I'm SO glad it worked out! :yay:

Why would you think that only 2 of the 4 people would get a room key? Everytime we have stayed on property, we all get a room key- even the kiddos. That doesnt make sense.

Going nutty- glad everything worked out for you and you got a CM that knew what she was talking about.

Because there were some comments that were deleted and then quoted by others. If you pay for everyone they all get room keys. If you sneak someone in then they wouldn't have a room key.
