4/24/2011 'Dream'ing of Easter with Donald Duck April 24, 2011

We just got home today from a cruise and booked this one for next Spring Break. It will be DH, me and our 4 kids DS 15, DS 12, DD 11, DS 5 and My friend and her two kids and my mom and dad! We can't wait!!

We will be joining y'all. Back to back 4 day and 3 day. We were booked on the 12/29/10 holiday cruise that got canceled and decided to try the Dream.
Me 31
DW 31
DS 4

We're going also! DD 15 and DD 11. Do you all think that a 15 yo will have fun on a 4 day cruise if she doesn't know anyone??

CANNOT wait.

PS - After cruise, heading for WDW for 3 days also. Staying at Bonnet Creek!

See you all soon,:yay:

We are going !!! Can't wait.
It will be me, my husband and DD 10:yay:

Maybe we can get our kids together. I have a 11 year old daughter and she's nervous that she won't enjoy the kids club. She obviously has never been on a cruise before.

Maybe we can get them to email each other/pen pal for the next several months and then they can get even more excited to meet each other!

Let me know if you'd like to do that and we can email each other our addresses.

Sandy

Little change in plans for us - looks like we'll be doing the 4/21 3-night instead.

Oops - our school changed our spring break also. Cancelling and rescheduling for the week before.

Bon Voyage!

Me and DD (10) will be booking our room this week.
This is our 1st cruise.
We are so excited.:cool1:
Can't wait to meet everyone.

I am taking my son on his first cruise and it happens to be my first as well. I've always wanted to do it, but just never have, so having been to the parks many times, and having read many reviews, I figured this was the way to go. Plus my son LOVES everything Disney. But this cruise is special because we not only set sail on Easter Sunday-April 24th on the new Disney Dream, but his 9th Birthday is Tuesday April 26th! So any tips, tricks, or advice anyone can offer will be more than appreciated! :yay:

We'll be there on our first EVER Disney cruise! Me 35, DH 37, DD 5. We're also going with friends (Dad 41, Mom 35, Twin girls 6). It'll be their first Disney cruise as well. We're in category 11C (I believe) on Deck 2. Yep, we're in steerage, but at least we'll be there!! :dance3:

Just saw that you replied to me - Sorry, better late than never I guess. I would love to get our girl's together. This will be her 5th Disney Cruise, but it's a lot more fun when she has friends! I think I know how to PM you, so I will send you my email address.

My son wants to pack plastic easter eggs and candy to hand out on deck at the sail away party, so keep your eyes open for us to say hello!

Thats a lovely idea for your son. How old is he? I am pretty sure he'll make alot of friends in the kids club as my dd(6) LOVED it every time she has been.
The problem was getting her out!

Is anybody doing a fish extender?

Bren :thumbsup2

Just wondering if ANYONE else is on this cruise???

Theres no one from the UK "dibb" and dosnt seem to be any from here:confused:

Maybe we will have the boat all to ourselves......:woohoo:

We are going! We went on the Inaugural Cruise and had a blast! 2 of my daughter's weren't able to go, so we rebooked on board for the Easter Sailing! We loved the ship and I would be happy to answer any questions you may have!

It will be me, DH, DD 17, DD 13, and DD6.

Yay, other people with kids will be on this cruise!! Our school vacation got switched from the week after Easter to the week before Easter but we had already booked this cruise after "earning" it by buying more DVC points so we just decided to spend our real spring break in the World and pull the kids out of school for 4 extra days! It's the school board's fault for changing the week :goodvibes

So we're sailing on the Easter cruise - me, DH, DS (12) and DD (8). Looking forward to meeting people and the kids are looking forward to making new friends!
