Yes, I saw it over on the main cruise forum though...not the trip meets forum...confused me there girl!

I figured you wouldn't want us to post till you were done with 'construction' and reserving the first several posts for cruise buisness.

Looks like people are already finding it and posting. Do you need us to hold off doing that?

Stephanie - Nice photos! I've said it before, but you certainly do have a lovely family :goodvibes

Both Dan and I love Blue. My wedding dress was royal blue. I will probably wear it on formal night. One of my friends 4 year old daughter called me the blue princess.

I ordered some pirate stuff yesterday. So fun. pirate:

Melissa

Aha! So your avatar is a photo from your wedding right? That's really cool.

What did you get for pirate night? I'm playing with the idea of wearing something pirate themed & adding a lei to make it tropical....

Riddle me this......WHY do I have to sit through hours of skiing and curling and god knows what else just to see a few ladies ice skate? :headache:Come on!

My kid and I were thinking the same thing. Then, the kid says "I remember when I was little we could watch the skating all night long." It was not that long ago! Oh well, channel surf until they get around to the skating again![/QUOTE]

I remember that too! Why they can't feature one sport for an hour and then move onto the other ones I don't know.....but I think it probably has something to do with ratings ;)

When the mini-nav is ready, I am hoping to post it on the web site so people can print it out before leaving home. I will bring some extra copies with me, but hope not to have to carry 100+ copies on the plane with me...

That sounds like a plan Dee. I think everyone who wants a mini-nav should print their own or coordinate with someone who can print an extra for them. You guys are all planning so much as it is! :flower3:

This is what I found out:
It looks like we can get a train from Cadiz to Seville for 12.75 Euros each way. I can take and 8:55 train out and arrive in Seville at 10:48 and then return to Cadiz at 6:08 and arriving at 8:04.

There is one leaving Cadiz at 8:05 AM, but that may be cutting it close.

I have not booked the ticket yet, but may soon. The web site is http://www.renfe.es/ (but it is all in Spanish and I need to make sure I am doing what I really want.

Thanks for this info. It does look doable...

stlkeeler, thanks for posting the Madeira info. Looks like we may be sailing there in April. :thumbsup2

Hi Everyone:

Just trying to catch up with the postings - this thread has really accelerated since Christmas and I have a lot more reading to do!

My kids and I were working on the FEs today and it will be our first time participating in this activity - sounds like fun. I have read post #10 but have some questions about the FEs (sorry if this is repetitive). When do people usually deliver the items? (e.g., what time of day and at what point in the cruise?) Also, I have read that some people leave a name from the person/cabin who left the item - are there any guidelines on this for this cruise?

Thank you.

So they were going to unlink with us and hope to get an upgrade.

I think this is all getting to me - really!

I always have the nightmare that I am late getting to the terminal and miss my cruise.:scared1: Every single time we go on a cruise I have the same nightmare.

Krisann: I have tried emailing and sending you a PM about the Lanyard team info and have not heard back from you yet???

Jan: I think we have sailed with you before, back a few years ago during a Halloween cruise. It may have been the year I was pregnant.

Delivery: at all times of the day and night. If everyone does not gift on the first couple of days, there will something in the FE throughout the cruise.

I always put my name on the gifts I gave because I would want others to do the same - this isn't Secret FE. :goodvibes

Thanks very much for the guidelines Lynne, this helps. Martin

Ok things are feeling real to me - got my magical express tags for WDW today! Now I can put tags on those suitcases I have already packed!!

Krisann

I checked the list and our name was not on it. I put it on but then when I went to check it again it was not there. I thought there were about 95 cabins and that list only had about half of that. Am I missing a list somewhere?

I do not know anything about the sheets - sorry. I added my name myself there and will have to check to see if I am stil on there too as I have no idea. I used the list on page one as that is the official FE list from Michelle2 - and you are on that list!

Krisann

Thought I would post another question. This may help some with SM stuff - otherwise just interesting information.

What is your favorite color?

Mine is blue - not baby blue though. I like the dark blues and jewel tone blues

Kristi

Hopelessly behind, life is to busy here to keep up.

Just happened onto this,

I like all shades of colors that are not primary! That said, I rarely ever wear color of any kind, almost always black. My husband doesn't play favorites with anything, even colors! But again that said? He will not wear pink or purple, I've tried folks. My house is full of cranberry, olive, goldish yellows, and taupe and koala browns. I like silver and black in cars and only clean white in linens. yes well, when asked about colors? I never have a favorite more like a favorite for specific uses. . .:rolleyes1 Just save that 8pack of Crayolas for the coloring book and I am happy!

I guess I wasn't "squeaky" enough when I called them to inquire if my family in Cat. 5 would be receiving an upgrade. (I was told point blank-- NO!) Maybe I will try again on Monday, but I am not too hopefull. :confused3

Yeah, no matter how I go about asking my TA to recheck if any upgrades may have been offered me that did not move me down Decks I can't get anywhere so I guess we stay in a Cat11. oiy! So Deck 5 it is for us. Goodbye Deck 7, We so loved you our first cruise!

Yes, my avatar is from our wedding this past November. We've been together nearly 8 years, but only married a few months. We had a pretty low key wedding, and my wedding dress was basically a blue bridesmaid dress. I always wanted to wear blue, don't like wearing white, and saved a ton of money. Plus I can rewear it on formal nights on cruises. Especially on Disney....nothing wrong with dressing like a princess. princess:

I bought Dan a white period shirt and a tricorn. I bought myself a minature tricorn. Found them on Etsy. I want to get him a vest or a sash. I got a period dress from a costume website. I figure we'll use them again for Haloween (or another Disney cruise).

I'm not worried about the extra weight. I figure I'm bringing formal wear, so that means the garment bag is coming. I want to have fun and will pay the fee to bring the bag. Just consider it part of the cost. Part of the reason we cruise is formal nights, we LOVE them.

As I was glancing at the new thread I noticed some things that weren't updated that I thought were finalized. So I thought I'd mention them in case I'm mistaken!

Palo brunch. Second group has been turned in right? (but we may have only 12 or 13 names, so it might be possible to add someone when we get word at 30 days??)

Pre cruise meets. Country Inn & Suites is set for 6PM-conclusion, poolside, right?

thanks

.

- Can't answer about Palo.

- Wasn't posting specifics about the pre-cruise meets on the Boards for safety.

I'm also a scrapbooker. I've always made traditional scrapbooks but I bought the digital scrapbook software last summer and have used it twice to make scrapbooks for school projects. :thumbsup2: It was a lot of fun but I do miss the feel of the scrapbook, just don't have the time for it!:guilty: Krisann I love the idea of downloading the pictures and creating the scrapbook on the cruise. It would be wonderful to come home and just print it out!:cool1:

For all you digital scrapbookers out there (and those who are looking for a waterproof camera), last sumer I got the Cannon Powershot D10. It is waterproof to 30 ft, drop proof up to 6 ft (okay, I only dropped around three feet but that was an accident!:rolleyes1 shh, don't tell dh!:flower3:) and takes pictures and video. It was really neat last summer to take video on the water slides at Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon! I've always used disposable waterproof cameras in the past but it was great to have a zoom feature on this one. :thumbsup2

I'll be bringing on this cruise so I can download the water pictures from CC and digitally scrapbook them right away!:goodvibes
