Our guaranteed Cat10 reservation has a Deck 7 stateroom number!
Yes...they could change your upgrade again. So get excited (but cautiously).
Karen and I moved from steerage to a Cat 11, Deck 6. So far, we had cruised Deck 5, Deck 5, Deck 6.
I am happy with this room - it is mid-ship (and I am prone to seasickness - I'll be wearing my patch).
I was so excited to get the $799 rate and then disgruntled when they dropped it to $699 and wouldn't give us a credit. But I wasn't willing to pay the extra $2-3K for us to sail in a higher level cabin - now we get the better cabin category + shore excursions for less than what we would have paid (we hadn't booked Cat 12 previously).
Oh, we're on the deck of the day - 6th, room 6585.

6583!!!You once asked if Tony and I were following you and the answer is YES--We are right next door to you and Karen6583!!!

It's exciting to see that the stateroom numbers are available!

Can Disney take away an upgrade once a stateroom number is stated? We can't find any other written information about it. We also learned about unexpected fees that Disney has to include for our Disney wedding day, so we really hope the stateroom is not another case of "something we didn't see." We were planning to check out of Country Inn & Suites early Saturday to arrive at the port to pay for an upgrade (HOPING that some rooms would be available). That's still our plan B to get Oceanview.
Disney resort and cruise upgrades seem to work differently. Since we have a room number, could Disney decide to take it away when we check in?
Also, less important, does the website indicate our dining time? Or do we learn that when we check-in?

Look at the number of pages the group typed in the past 12 hours...

and they said that anything could still change until the actual travel documents are printed. However, imho, it would be extremely bad p.r. to downgrade someone even after an unexpected upgrade - fine to switch cabins or further upgrade
, but terrible to take it away

But it does seem that those who got upgraded early had more than one cabin....

We just got our room assignments. We booked 4 category 12's and ended up with 4 category 9's all on deck #2. I have only ever cruised on decks 7 & 8 so I am a bit nervous about being all the way down at the bottom of the ship. I have really never needed to use the elevators before.

We've only ever been on decks 1 or 2, We enjoyed those decks they were quiet and it is easy to get to where ever you need to go. We did make a habit of using the stairs though, Too much to eat.![]()

Just got home from playing in Las Vegas for a few days, wow, lots to get caught up on!
My Cat 12 is now a cat 11. Not much of an upgrade, but I'm happy with this. I was able to save money by changing to a cat 12 just before paying in full, and still have my original "cheap" airfare, so while I wouldn't have turned down a better upgrade I am happy with the location and to be still sailing with you all
Dee, we're neighboursI'm in 6137.
Ahhhhh....but would you RATHER have a sideways cat 11?
Well, we got ours and I'm delighted and puzzled all at once...we went from level 12 gty to level 9 (room 2528) which is absolutely wonderful! But my husband is in a wheelchair. Our TA said that since they don't offer level 12 HA's, it's a pretty good bet that we would be upgraded at least to an 11 HA. Weird, huh? Especially since they are giving out the HA staterooms. Oh well, we weren't counting on HA anyway.
Good luck to any who haven't heard yet!,

I live 2 hours from the airport and my flight leaves at 6am so I didn't want to have to leave home at 2am.
