I just booked my hotel for the night before I fly to FLI live 2 hours from the airport and my flight leaves at 6am so I didn't want to have to leave home at 2am.
It's getting closer![]()




I'm contemplating booking a hotel by my home airport too. Even though it's not much of a drive from my house to the airport, it would be nice to: A) not have someone need to take me early in the morning; B) be able to leave my car at the hotel park & ride; C) not get up as early in the morning; D) have my car nearby and; E) not have to have someone pick me up to get home. I think I just talked myself into spending another $90...

Well, we got ours and I'm delighted and puzzled all at once...we went from level 12 gty to level 9 (room 2528) which is absolutely wonderful! But my husband is in a wheelchair. Our TA said that since they don't offer level 12 HA's, it's a pretty good bet that we would be upgraded at least to an 11 HA. Weird, huh? Especially since they are giving out the HA staterooms. Oh well, we weren't counting on HA anyway.

I would inquire about it, clearly all the HA rooms on the ship couldn't be booked solid as we are not handicapped requiring and were given one without requesting it, you know?
Has anyone who booked recently gotten an assignment or did all of you book well in advance??
I am still roomless but I guess I can't complain having only booked last week.
So ever since last night, every time I'm on the user CP and click "Go to first unread post" I am taken to some random post I've already read...and it stays stuck there every time I come back. Anyone else encountered this problem?

Hi everybody. I'm sorry to have provoked such concern! DH can transfer, and he can even walk short distances on good days. We really are delighted with our upgrade, and delighted to be going, period! We are very content, and our TA is going to call again on our behalf, so all's good. Truly! Thanks for your concern,

We booked the first day and were assigned two sideways Cat 11 rooms on Deck 6 forward. I checked today and we were upgraded to two Category 6 verandah rooms on Deck 6 forward!
Have any Canadians received their flight info if booked via Disney?
I went through the motions of booking on-line to see if there were any price changes and it said there were "no longer any flights from my location...." I tried Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa, all the same.
I wonder if Disney is having trouble getting flights for us back from Barcelona. I know when I tried to find flights myself, I couldn't find anything remotely cheap.
