3rd time is the charm

Just back from our 3rd trip to disney. It took 3 trips to get on Splash Mountain, and EE. and all I can say is "why did it take me so long"....OMG loved both of those rides.....that only leaves 2 "thrill" rides we have not tried...ToT and Space Mountain (due to 3 back surgeries, I heard its jerky), however I have ridden Dinosaur, Primal Whirl and just about everything else with no issues. Looking to try SM on our next trip. Not sure I can talk myself into ToT or my teenage grandson......we had an awesome time

ToT is a much, much, MUCH better experience than S&M Mountain.

There is a great ToT back story, pre-show and queue, and the actual experience is very smooth (even though it IS exciting.)

Space Mtn., is so ridiculously jerky (on one's back, especially) and as ride, there is simply no pre-show or "story" at all.
It is just a fast, dark coaster with very uncomfortable seating.

It may be a "Disney standard," but the bar has been raised so far above it, that
it can be very disappointing...
especially compared to the other outstanding attractions that you mentioned
in your post.

Personally, I think Dinosaur is much jerkier than Space Mountain, and I agree that ToT is very smooth, so have fun!
