I have a couple questions on linking reservations and if I've accomplished what I was trying to do. We have 2 cabins (DH, and 3 kids in that one- all but one has sailed Disney before) then we have another reservation that we linked with first one (me with 2 kids that are adults lol - they have not sailed, I have). So basically DH and I are listed as the first people on both reservations and will check in when silver date arrives.

1. When our check in time comes, do I need to log into both reservations separately to get a PAT and check in or can I do that by logging into one since they are linked?

2. Pending the above, can I book Palo through one reservation for 4 of us adults?

3. Same with excursions as number #2 above

4. Will we be guaranteed to have the same table for dinner (DH and I and our 5 kids) just by linking our reservation?

5. When we check in at the port (Barcelona) since we have separate reservations even though they are linked, can we just all 7 of us go to the check in counter together or does one reservation go to first available person and then next reservation go to next available. I'm asking because I needed to be in second cabin when we booked but will need a card for the first cabin and our adult son that hasnt sailed will be staying in the 2nd cabin in my place so he will need a card to access the room he's sleeping in. In a nutshell,my adult son and I will be swapping at port cabins. Just wanted 1 silver CC to be in each cabin and it had to be an adult.

I believe when reservations are linked that all parties linked will be available choices of names in the booking area, so you should be able to select people from each room at the same time for one reservation at Palo.

3. Same with excursions as number #2 above. Same answer as above

4. Will we be guaranteed to have the same table for dinner (DH and I and our 5 kids) just by linking our reservation? Yes, linking your reservations will automatically signal DCL to put you together in the MDRs.

1. Yes, for check in (that's where you select your PAT) each reservation/room must be done separately. For booking excursions you only have to be logged into one reservation. When you select one, it will ask who you want to include in the reservation and there's a list of all people on your linked reservations to select (or select "all").
2. As long as both rooms (holding those 4 adults) have the same booking window, yes.
3. See #1
4. Yes. When you check in at the port, you'll see your table number on your KTTW card. If it's not the same on everyone's card (unlikely) go to the dining changes location to fix it.
5. Technically each reservation would go up separately, but I'd go together, if it were me. The CM will check in one reservation first, and then the second. I'll also point out that the required silver CC member doesn't HAVE to be an adult to make the room silver. As long as one person in the room is silver, it's silver. But you do have to have an adult in each room.

I believe for online check-in and PAT selection, you will need to log-in to each reservation separately.

To book dining, excursions, and other activities you should be able to do all of you from both cabins at the same time.

Linking reservations basically tells DCL that you wish to dine together.

I assume Barcelona is no different than other ports... you may all approach together. Each reservation will be checked in and each passenger will get your KTTW card at the check-in desk. To get additional key cards, an adult registered to that stateroom must go to Guest Services onboard to request an extra card (which can then be shared with the other adult).

Enjoy your cruise!

PrincessShmoo, does this mean only DH and I (silver) can book but not our two adult kids (in my room both kids are adults but never sailed before)? We are wanting brunch for the 4 of us as one reservation but it sounds like even if we are silver we will need to wait till our adult kids's newbie window opens before making them

The booking window opens based on the highest CC level in the room. So, anyone in a silver room can be booked, regardless of the individual's actual CC level.
