There was a huge quality leap forward this year (mostly this summer) on 360 cameras and camera rigs (and some even bigger ones coming very soon). I decided that there was a model I thought was to my minimum standards on what I want from a video recording and finally jumped on purchasing one.
For the first time in several decades, I feel like a complete newb on where I would want to film from. The game is a little different when it's not just directly in front of you video your taking. I'm expecting a lot of time in the parks and finding out what works best for me.
I would love some feedback, even if you have never done any 180, panaromic or 360 video before including what and where you might be interesting in seeing.
my short list right now:
- Wishes from behind the castle.
- Jingle boom (disney named it poorly). not 100% sure where I want to be for that one but a good projection viewing location at minimum.
- mk parades. I'm not 100% sure where would be the best spot to get this.
any thoughts, feedback, ideas? what would you want to see if you can watch a video that is all around you.
