I guess they think that people are going to cave and rent them anyway out of desperation or out of not being away of the increase. If you booked you trip last year and are going next month you may not be aware of the increase and budget for the stroller so you dont have to pack yours.

I'm assuming you buy the length of stay at the same place of teh strollers, right? If I'm there for 7 days can I just buy a 5 day stroller length of stay?

EXACTLY....lasy year I rented them at $10 and I leave on April 6th, the same day they are increasing teh prices:sad2: I am going to have to rent them anyway:sad2:

I bet it's a typo - sounds like it might increase to $21? If it's not a typo I guess I'll be doing some stroller shopping this week...

This is what I am hoping. If not, this is the craziest thing I have ever heard! I will be bringing mine from home. We are there for 2 weeks. I could about purchase a golf cart for that price. :lmao:

And let's face it........Even if it was a typo......STILL ridiculous that they've GONE OVER $20 a day for a double stroller. Whats' next.....charging for band aids at the first aid station?????????????

Ok, so maybe it's time for a "stroller swap" in the same way that there are now all these fridge swaps?

At $31 a day, you'd pay for a decent quality double stroller in a week.....so why not buy one, use it and then pass it on to another family for a small fee until it's paid for like the fridge deals?
:rotfl2:

I did see this already started on the Budget Board (I think)

Hop on the disneyworld website, at the bottom of the page click on "Disneyworld.com help" then click on "Guest Services." Scroll down, the Stroller Rental info is the third from the bottom. I copied this information directly from the disneyworld website:

For your convenience, strollers are available for rent. Quantities are limited and subject to availability. The stroller rental fee is $10.00 per day* for a single-passenger stroller and $18.00 per day for a double-passenger stroller**.

For Guests who require a stroller rental for multiple days, we offer a Length of Stay rental ticket where you make a one-time payment transaction for as many days of rental that you will need. Single-passenger strollers are available for $8.00* per day and double-passenger strollers** for $16.00 per day. Upon visiting a Theme Park, simply show your receipt at the stroller rental location and you will be expedited through the queue with little or no wait time.

The link states the price increase will take effect April 6.

I emailed Disney directly from their website, right at the bottom... CONTACT ME. I am still waiting for a reply.

where do we email to complain? (won't do any good, just give us a chance to give a piece of our minds!)

Those aren't the prices listed on the Disneyworld website. Go to the website. click on "Disneyworld.com Help" at the bottom of the page, and then click on "Guest Services." Scroll down, the third entry from the bottom is Stroller Rental, and reads as follows:

"For your convenience, strollers are available for rent. Quantities are limited and subject to availability. The stroller rental fee is $10.00 per day* for a single-passenger stroller and $18.00 per day for a double-passenger stroller**.

I've been trying to justify buying a double jogging stroller for about $200, because it's something I will use at home. Hubbie REALLY didn't want to lug it on and off the busses, but at that price, it will be lugged!! So I apologize in advance to anyone that gets stuck on the buses with us. We'll get it as "out of the way" as possible, but I'm not throwing that much money on renting and not have anything to show for it!! Sorry to all that will be at POP May 3-10!:confused3

They might be doing that because stroller traffic creates so many headaches and a lot of people use them that don't need them
