$30 off AP offer

Oh and YES the e-ticket had info about January 2010 on it. Alas I'm not sure what the exact date in January it stated, but it was definitely Jan of '10.

I've re-found my email from them, and now I have my voucher on my desktop, to look at whenever I want. :) And it's definitely 1/4/2010. As my fellow Washingtonian said. :)

I have to buy two more, too! One this week and one next week!

Just a note of caution to anyone who might have the vouchers sent to them intead of printing them out themselves.....Our printer isn't working at present so I had my AP vouchers mailed to me and the date for expiration is Feb. 2009, NOT the date in 2010 that is showing up on the ones that people are printing themselves. We are going to DLR next week, so that date is okay for us, but it wouldn't be okay for someone not going within the next few months. :)

I didn't even know there was such an option!

As another option, since it's just emailed and is a PDF, you could check your email from anywhere with a printer and print it at that point.

Such an option as having it mailed to you? Yes, there is that option. Not everyone has access to a computer, even in these times. :) I think snail mail is still always an option with most things. My DS really wanted to receive them in the mail...more fun for him instead of us just printing them out, so I said that was okay. He was very excited to get them from the mailman that day. I was just surprised that there was a different expiration date from those that you can print at home. I would think they'd be the same.

I would be surprised too. Thanks for the heads up. And yes, there are many a people without computers but if you're buying your ticket online then you have access to one at the very least. :)

You're welcome.:) I thought I should mention it in case others also decide to have the AP's mailed to them. DUH on me...LOL! I meant to say that some people might not have access to a PRINTER. Yes, if the AP is ordered online they there is access to a computer. Like me though, I have a computer, but the printer is down. I could go somewhere else to use the printer, but having it mailed was okay for me this time. I have SO much else to do this week. We'll be at Disneyland in less than 7 days and We're SO excited!

I think im going to cry i still cant purchase them i have tried every way possible visa pre paid cards 3 credit cards a debit mastercard. >o(

I'm sorry...I don't know what to say. Have you tried calling DL directly?

mareeld86, it's very strange that so many cards aren't being accepted.

I was just getting DH and DS's, and I noticed something, experimented, and wondered, maybe, if what I noticed is what is stopping you.

So many people never read the terms/conditions, but in this case, the terms and conditions end with a button to click. You have to scroll to the bottom and click next to "I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions" for it to go anywhere. When I didn't, to experiment, I got the error message:

Billing Address:
The following required field is missing: Terms & Conditions.

I imagine if that's the error you're getting, you would have mentioned that, but just in case, I'm mentioning it.

So if that's the error message, be sure to click on that in the terms and conditions, and maybe you'll be able to buy them.

Good luck!!!!!!

I haven't checked today, gotta do that!

I have Motel 6 for the 5th, I just didn't WANT Motel 6. :) Actually I did, but then I read some recent reviews and now I don't anymore, LOL.

But it's just a place to rest for a few hours before we go and do early check-in for PPH, so it'll be OK, and actually since we're not taking the carseat one adult has to walk over with DS anyway, while the adult with the bags takes a cab, so it's best to have Motel 6 vs HoJo anyway. Though I can think of a few even closer-to-PPH hotels that I'd like more!

So I had tried and tried again, to get the purchase to go through. Kept getting the SoCal error message.

Called the number in the terms and conditions, got a relatively clueless CM who reminded me of some customers I would deal with when working at amazon, where you really had to be careful, specific, and make sure they were ONLY doing what you told them to do, and not randomly clicking while telling you the opposite, LOL.

Anyway, after she and I got off the phone (me cheerfully asking her to please pass it along that it's NOT letting "anyone" buy them and her cheerfully agreeing to pass it along), I thought of a different route I could take.

I had been just changing the number of APs from 0 to 2, then clicking Checkout.

But this time I clicked to View Cart.

And even though it looked exactly the same as I went through the purchase process, it WORKED. Woohoo!

And since I don't think there was time (1 minute) between the end of our brief phone call and me ordering for the web people to fix it, I think that was the fix, at least this time. View Cart then Checkout, don't just Checkout.

I love the Costco deal! The deluxe ones come with a $50 gift card, and we bought two and just used the gift cards to upgrade one of our passes to the Premium!! YIpppeeee

The costco deal is good, too, especially if you're upgrading. For me, even though you end up $20 up over the $30 off deal, you're still paying that $60 more and the giftcard can't go back and pay any of that, and I'm sure I'd just end up spending *extra*, so I'd be more in the hole, LOL.

Oh, and there was no way for me to get to a so cal Costco. :)

Yay! I'm glad it finally worked for you. When do you leave? We'll be leaving on Wednesday!

We leave Friday after hubby's off of work. He tried to convince us to go early in the day and he'd meet us, but we did that last year and it didn't totally seem fair. Plus we're flying Virgin America which is a fun flying experience, and I wanted to be there for his first time flying with them! I flew them earlier this month and enjoyed it (even though the flight was delayed for hours by weather down in CA and then the airport was shut down for security reasons, delaying us more than an hour longer). :)

The way up we're just flying Alaska so if he'd mentioned "aw shucks, you guys take a couple more days I'll go home early" I would have done it, but that involves more hotel nights so he didn't, LOL.

I've been contemplating the purchase of 3 deluxe APs via the discount link for some time now and today was the day I finally decided to purchase them. I was so excited and it was the first thing I did when I woke up at 5 am today. I chose the print at home option and everthing seemed to go through without a hitch. I got the confirmation email and then the nightmare began.

The second email, the one the contains the actual tickets never arrived. I kept checking my email. Nothing. I called the number on the confirmation email only to hear the "we're closed, call back at 8 am PST" message. That was over a 4 hour wait from my time zone and I am not a good waiter. :) At 8 am PST, I dialed and waited on hold for my call to be answered in the order it was received. The CM that finally answered told me that I would have to email Ticket Services for assistance. I was shocked. :scared1: This was Disney I had called and I just knew that a live person would solve the problem right away with a little pixie dust. I was wrong. I emailed the designated department as instructed and then waited.

In the meantime, I checked my credit card online (I do this regularly now since I was robbed in Tulsa, OK, last month and had a laptop computer stolen out of my trunk....yes, I have been lucky like that lately :headache:.) I was surprised to discover pending charges of almost $2500 on my account so I placed a phone call to Chase and discovered that Disney has 3 authorizations on my account for $717 each. My day was getting better and better all the time! :cool1: After that, I got to leave a message with Disneyland's credit card authorization department in hopes they called me back to discuss the extra authorizations.

I was so worried that my 3 deluxe APs had ended up in someone else's mailbox, that I kept trying to call Disneyland's customer service back in hopes of getting another CM that might be more helpful. Everytime, I would end up on hold waiting for the next available person, work would interfere (imagine that :upsidedow) and I would have to hang up.

About noon my time, I finally got connected to a CM that told me to calm down (did I mention I was panicking?) and explained to me that there had been a major problem with Disney's web site. This was a relief to hear. I was not alone!! She said that they were in the process of resending all of the tickets and that I should call back if I hadn't received mine before tomorrow evening. I thanked her profusely for being honest with me.

Almost 10 hours after my initial order, I finally received my tickets! I am so glad but I'm not sure that the savings were worth the stress?!? I know I acquired a few more grey hairs today. I called their customer service again when I got home from work just to make sure that there was no possibility my tickets had gone to the wrong email address. They assured me that there had simply been a giant bottleneck in their email system and the tickets had not gone out at all until I received them late this afternoon. I told the CM that "the Happiest Place on Earth" had, at least for today, become my "Nightmare Before Christmas." She reassured me that they would make it all up to me when I arrive for my next visit in May. Personally, I have no doubt that this will be the case because Disneyland is truly magical. The bottom line is, once I had my electronic AP's with the beautiful TinkerBell on them in my hand, the magic began.......

I can hardly wait until my family and I get there!

OH my gosh I'm going to faint just reading about all of that! Can you imagine if you were using a debit card???? (like I did just last month)

I'm so glad it all got worked out.

Oh my, now I'm going to faint! I hadn't even had time to think of the debit card scenario. I guess I was lucky! :)
