$30 off AP offer

We tried to order these earilier today, and at the end of the transaction it asked for a SoCal zip code. When we called, the CM we talked to said there was a glitch in the system and to try later.

My ? is what if I have a 6 day pass and want to turn it into a deluxe AP pass would I get the 30 bucks off ? Or is this only if you purchase online?

Its online only. We have the same problem. We're going during Christmas break (I know we are insane, but we can deal with crowds) and would get APs if we could use either the Costco or online offers, but the dates we'll be there are blackout dates for the deluxe. I just don't see upgrading to Premiums. DH would probably have a heart attack at the price of premium passes x 5!

This was happening yesterday, then it got straightened out this morning but it sounds like the glitch is back! :upsidedow

I just tried to order mine, and it's still having the same problem  I called the Park, and the CM I spoke with said to try again in a couple of days. So, they've not got it worked out yet (as of 3pm Pacific time).

My sister in law got hers about an hour ago, so it seems to be working now.

If we decide later to upgrade to the premium could we still put this purchase towards that?

Any updates? The offer sounds rather interesting. I have not looked into it yet, on the DL. website. I hope that all of the glitches are worked out.

I've read that you should clear your browser cache of cookies, then try again and it often works.

If i remember reading right it had to be activated by january 2010??? Anyone that has bought on can you confirm i'm trying to think what would be better this offer or upgrading a so-cal pass as we will be doing universal and sea world as well!

Does the Deluxe Annual Passport come with any early Magic Morning Admissions? I am thinking about buy one AP (for the hotel discount) and then 4 day park-hoppers for the rest of the family. The website states that the park hopper comes with one early admission, but I did not see anything about the AP? Thanks

People that have purchased this particular AP, have posted that it is Jan. of 2010, to which the AP needs to become activated by. The offer it self, is good until the end of this year.

You'll just have to write it all out to figure the math. The city pass does seem to be a great deal, where something like 189 of the cost goes towards the DLR ticket in each citypass booklet!

Where are you staying? The only hotels I know that offer a discount with AP are the on-site places and HoJo.

If you're staying onsite, you get MM with that, so you don't need to worry about MMs at all. As a guest of the Disney hotels you'll get access to each MM offered during your stay, including day of check in (if you're there really really early) and check out, if either or both of those days are MM days.

But no, the AP does NOT come with MM. That's either through hoppers or staying on site!

No, the AP's do not include MM. However, if you are going to be staying on site, then you can take part in all of the MM's.

Too bad about the Southern Califronia wording again. I'm seriously considering this if I can get a definite answer on how long you have to activate it. I talked to a CM at Disneyland on Thursday night but she was never able to give me a definite answer. She couldn't find the discount link at first then was finally able to locate it by going through Costco. If someone who's already purchased this could verify the activation date and the Southern California wording gets changed again..........

Question for anyone who HAS bought this successfully. Is there anything requiring ID on the e-ticket and when you exchange the pass?

It states that for will call you have to have the matching credit card, but for the e-ticket it doesn't state that. We wanted to use a card that right now we only have in hubby's name, but if I have to "match" the card then that won't work.

Thanks for the info!

Updating!

When they had the southern CA wording, I realized after the fact that there was something else floopy going on. When I did the "sample eticket" thing, I could ONLY see Tinkerbell on the page.

But when I was at last able to make the order (from my brother's computer, the day before I went to Disneyland) the sample ticket had writing on the page, along with Tinkerbell. So the wrong wording was just part of the problem.

To answer my last question, there is no ID question at the gates. The CM said "oh, you have one of these!", scanned it, and out popped a ticket-size (on the normal ticket stock) voucher to be redeemed at the "bank" for a proper voucher. It was EASY.
