3 quiet nights for visiting WDW

I haven't been since late 2015 but have been getting an urge to go back for the primary purpose of checking out Pandora.

So my question is this: I know there are no really quiet times anymore. But if you could pick any 3 night period for the fewest crowds, when would you go?

You can consult a crowd calendar for some more information. Yes....after Labor day is a good time. Generally tues/weds/thurs are the least crowded of most weeks.

We travel to the World pretty frequently and I totally agree about early September. We went down last year Sept. 7-12 and it was soooo slow compared to every other time we've gone. Weather was beautiful but so hot! (hotter than August even). We're going again that weekend this year (my bday).

Here's my ranking of slowest to busiest based on our past trips:
- Early September
- Mid August
- Late May
- Presidents' Week in February (school break)
- Mid April (school break)
- Christmas-NYE
- Veterans Day weekend (absolutely bananas)

If you can do the week days after your be even better

Yes that's definitely my plan now!

Looks like Dolphin (I prefer Epcot area) is about 190 per night on those days which is pretty decent. Surprised to see the Swan is 2x what the Dolphin is for those dates, wow!

The only risk with that time period (Sept) is hurricanes. Stay alert for them in the weeks/days leading up to your trip.

but Disney has closed 4 times in the past 45+ years due to hurricanes and when bad weather hits the park die down even more.

You have made a valid point, but even tropical storms make some trips down there "not the most fun".
In the past few years I have had to reschedule due to severe weather.
I just didn't want the OP to think that a September trip is a slam dunk, with mostly warm temps and afternoon showers!

Seems like the weekdays after Labor Day is the winner!! Thanks everyone.
That for years was our time to go and we experienced the least crowds ever for us. We would usually hit an afternoon rain shower, over in 30 minutes or so. Really cleared out the parks!
Then we switched to pre Christmas, more crowds, more festive.
Now we're going in February...
Each time had been progressively busier.

there still is a lot to do at Disney even in the rain put a poncho on and water show on and go out and have fun in the short lines ( and I do mean short lines) and even with a tropical storm there still is quiet point in the rain that comes where you can get on the outside rides and since the lines are so much shorter it really helps. I almost pry for a good rain day on my trips the parks really do clear out.

Most of the outside attractions shut down during storms though, so it pretty much balances out any benefit of fewer guests in the parks. They all queue up for the inside attractions. We tend to go the end of August, and the storms are not worth venturing out into when there's lightning.

Main purpose of my visit would be Pandora. And I believe FOP is inside so I don't mind riding that over and over and over if crowds have dispersed because of rain.

Yes, not only both rides inside they are inside the same building in the line for FOP you are on top of the river ride part. unless there is a major hurricane coming I do not see the line dying down that much for either ride and maybe if there is a long rainstorm maybe the lines get a little longer since the lines ( most of the line) and rides are inside. but this time of year is less crowded and the lines are not as long. ( like 60+ minutes instead of 90+) also with SWGE some are postponing there trips

even with the hurrican there is stops in the rain unless the eye is close by or over Disney and if that the case more then likley Disney will close ( I have heard they will keep the park open if a cat 1 hit but do not know for sure) even then it is usually 12- 14 hours of rain and you have a great chance of that being overnight and for about 12 hours before you get a lot of off and on rain so in all it is just 24 hours with 3 days not likely to ruin all 3 days and when a hurricane comes Disney( exspashily if Disney close) get even quieter like a ghost town
