For the first time today I learned about vertigo after a cruise - it sounded worrisome so decided to check with my neurologist - never would I have guessed that it is not recommended I take a cruise because of the way my MS has exacerbated in the past. Sadly, I had to cancel.

I feel terrible - we were very much looking forward to this cruise - no doubt someone else will be excited to take my place!!!!

Rosie, we still have lots to plan for the Grannie trip!!

Ah, that is TERRIBLE news Christine! I know you were actually looking forward to this, and Rosie was so excited too, so I know it is super disappointing! Hopefully you will still have a super fun time on the Granny trip!!!

I completly understand , as I have already told you!!I too suffered from Vertigo after my one and only cruise ,I can only imagine how much worse it would be for you!!!

If anyone else is interested I woild still LOVE to do the cruise !!!!!

I am pretty bummed, but feel really bad for Rosie - it's not easy to find a cruise mate. I have fingers, eyes and toes crossed that another victim will step forward soon!!

Śoooo, back to planning the granny trip!!

So far, Granny Linda Grumpy invited us to stay offsite with her - this allows us to all stay together and since Rosie will have an AP, no parking cost and we can move around from park to park as much as we want!

I am still considering the last 2 ngts onsite if a good discount comes out - unlikely with our dates though. The current BB includes the week prior or beginning the 15th of December. I am going to need a tkt!! it has been years since I've had to think about a tkt!! Will a 5 day hopper be enough??

Linda is on her way to CA from a very nice long visit to WDW, Jeannette is around these parts somewhere! Janet is home and bit Under the weather today. Feel better soon, dear friend. Of corpse, Rosie and I are always around!!

I have just officially traded my studio unit at Tahoe for a 2 bedroom unit at Marriott Grande Vista for a total cost of $154 for 7 nights - dates are 12/5 thru 12/12. I'll rent a car for those days. I still may come in a day or 2 early and/or stay a day or 2 longer .... that will all depend on the cost of airfare. Any of you want to join me there you are more than welcome .... unit sleeps 6 in bedrooms and another 2 on the living room couch.

Good Morning All!

Somehow on the plane from Orlando to California I caught a cold so no multi quoting for me today!

Beds in the timeshare: one bedroom has a king bed, the other has two queens and there is a fold out couch in the living room.

There are two bathrooms which should help with getting ready in the morning.

There is a full kitchen .... I don't plan to do any cooking!!! It's vacation!!! But I will want to have coffee, some bagels/muffins, yogurt, some snacks and of course Janet and I will need to have our diet Coke/Pepsi.

As far as ADRs go .... Boatwrights ... steak was very good but if we don't eat there we at least have to go see Piano Bob!!! So much fun! Rosie you will love it .... dancing .... need I say more .... Christine don't worry you really don't have to get up and do all the stuff .... I didn't do the hand jive thing .... no way this old lady could keep up!

I also agree with who ever said it the 50s Prime Time would be a lot of fun with this group .... if Janet and Magic can behave!!!

As for other ADRs I'm open to anything. I'm not a picky eater and can find something to eat anywhere!

I hope to be there a week before all of you get there .... a little vacation with the family!! Not sure where we'll stay. DH doesn't like to be away from home for much more than a week so this works out great!! And we all know how much I hate long vacations!!!

Eating is fun - it will have been THREE long years since my last visit - as a former AP holder, I plan to make up for lost time and hit every attraction more than once, even if it means less food!

Honestly. I do not get all the hype over an iPad - if it didn't allow me to get one line and keep in touch, I would almost hate the thing. Wish I'd bought a new laptop rather than an iPad...live and learn!
