3/29/09 Wonder 4-Night - Spring Breaking Away

Hi Everyone!
It'll be our first Disney Cruise, there will be 10 of us! Me (Mom), Dad, DD 14, DD 11, DD 8 x 2 (they're twins!), DS 2, MIL, FIL, & Great Aunt.

We'd love to join in on the fish extender. What do I do next?

ruther5, I think we have some DD's that are about the same age!

:cool1:

Welcome!!momx5fromhawaii

You will need to have ten posts before you can PM me, with your Stateroom numbers.

So all you have to do is get together your Fish Extenders and some gifts.......usually just small tokens like magnets, pens, glow sticks, small toys, pirate loot for party night etc.....I think there is a whole thread on this some where.
We will gift each stateroom on the list once during the cruise.

I will put together a full list of stateroom numbers before we sail.
Great to have you! Welcome!!

Anyone else want to join in the Fish Extender Gift Exchange? :wizard:

Great we are growing! Looks like we have plenty of kids around the same age :)

Hi Momx5fromhawaii! My DD are excited to know that there really will be kids their age on board. We are also first time cruisers and I think they were beginning to wonder. Can't wait for some warm weather and sunshine---20 degrees today for the high and snowing like crazy:sad2:
We having two connecting rooms. Don't know if this makes a difference for the FE or not.

Hi ruther5!
My DD's are excited too! :dance3:

2 of our rooms are connecting also, our 3rd room is across the hall.

I'm not sure if it makes a difference with the FE's when they're connecting, I'm guessing it won't, as long as we have different FE's for each door?:confused3

Weather here was in the 80's today, but we're expecting some rain, so it'll probably be cooler tomorrow, mid 70's maybe....:cool2:

If you want each room to be gifted, you will need a Fish Extender for each stateroom. It's well worth the effort.......:thumbsup2

Many thanks TiggerTails57 for getting us organized!!! I went shopping for fabric this weekend and I can't wait to start putting things together. I was doing my DIS "research" and see that you are quite the Fish Extender Pro!! Thanks for all the helpful tips on the Fish Extender Thread. I am awed and inspired!:worship:

Now, I'm trying to decide if it is too early to start packing?? :rotfl:

:rotfl: Thanks, You are too kind!

Can't wait to see what your FE looks like......:goodvibes :thumbsup2
I also went shopping for FE gifts and got some great deals at 'Micheal's' our local craft store.

We would love to participate but I can't sew and we don't have a fish extender so it looks like we won't be able to. It would have been so much fun and my 5 year old would have loved it. Ya'll have fun doing it and hopefully we will see ya'll at sometime.

Hi NMickeymom!
We also went shopping this weekend for our FE fabric. My DD10 will be making them in sewing class.

I think my twins, DD8 are about the same age as one of your DD's.

I'm like you, I think I might start packing....:cool1:

Hi Everyone!
I have a question, especially for those who have been to Nassau before.

Do you think it's better to:
1. Book the excursion through DCL to Atlantis (there are several different ones, which one is best/worth it?)
2. Take a taxi to Atlantis and sightsee on our own

Are the slides/pool really that great? From what I've read, many book a room for the day just so they have access to everything at the resort.

Thanks in advance for any advice!:)

Or there is this.......http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2023276&page=1&highlight=comfort+inn+suites+nassau

We have not done Atlantis ourselves only walked around Nassau.
Have fun planning :hourglass

Just bumping to see if there is anyone else out there for this date. Won't be long now!!!:cool1:

You can find some very nice fish extenders on E-bay if you are interested. Search under "fish extender". (I saw some for around $30)

I'm still working on my extender, my girls keep wanting to "help". I finally booked our ADR's, excursions, and transportation. It gets me all giddy and excited all over again!!! :hyper:

We had considered Atlantis but decided on a snorkeling cruise. I figured we would have opportunity to do a disney water park another time and wanted to see a bit of the area. I hope we don't regret it. :scratchin
