3/29/09 Wonder 4-Night - Spring Breaking Away

Hello Everyone!pirate:
Just wanted to join the thread. I'm new to Disboards, I was looking on rooms and reviews for DCL and I find out this thread for March 29 cruise and now I regret not joining before,Now I understand what is an FE, looks fun for the family. The weather here will be 90 on saturday and 80 on sunday with few showers :confused3
Only few more days :woohoo:
Happy Packing !!

This is our first cruise on DCL

Just a huge THANK YOU to everyone!! We loved our 1st cruise and participating in the FE made it even more fun! I think the delivering was just as much fun as the receiving! We almost got caught a few times!:rotfl2: Well, we rebooked while on board, let the count down begin! Thank you again to everyone!

We are cruising in June and I am REALLY worried about the new menus and my picky family (especially the big guy who pays the bill!).

Did anyone order plain steak in the dining rooms? He typically orders one every night and I hear it was gone off the menu.:worship:

Any help would be appreciated.

There are beef/steak selections on most of the menus. My guess would be he could order it without the sauces, etc.

I know in Palo and Triton's for certain there was a Beef Tenderloin. I don't remember in Animator's or Parrot Cay.

I remember our Server telling me that steaks were something that return guests are asking for, even though they aren't offered on the menu any longer.

Hope this helps!

Ditto to that! We had a fabulous time and the FE was such a fun bit of magic or is that Wonder! Thank you all! I would agree, the delivering was FUN. We are considering rebooking as well. That $99 deal is just too good to pass up. I was just hitting the boards again to see if there is a "catch". We are still catching up after hitting the parks pretty hard after the cruise. Actually "paying" for our food was quite a change! Hope everyone is settling back into the real world with ease. :laundy:

Welcome back to dry land, everyone! We are still a bit sleep deprived after coming back yesterday at midnight, and so missing being on the ship!

Thanks to everyone for the awesome FE gifts! There was something for everyone -- DD went off to school this morning with all of the keychains on her backpack. Thanks also to everyone for finding us up on deck 8. We were a bit jealous going down to 6 and seeing everyone all together...hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

The best part is that halfway through, DH turned to me and said, "we are DEFINITELY doing this again!"
:cool1:

Thanks everyone for the WONDERful Fish Extender gifts
DH and I got home last night...........very tired. :goodvibes
We booked a five night (Key West), and the West Bound Transatlantic in 2010. :cool1::cool1:

Yippee! We just booked the $99 offer today for this November!! I think we are officially hooked. Maybe we will run into each other again on another thread or better yet, another cruise. :)
