150 won’t go far with 1bd at a standalone resort. So, if split stays are not an option then IMO buy more AKL to secure a 1bd at your home resort and then waitlist BCV and BWV 1bd at 7m on the dot.

This is a good point. I don’t mind stalking availability elsewhere, but I do like to be able to confirm my full stay first and THEN play with the options.

I think you'll find that on the morning your 7 month window opens and you modify that 1 bedroom reservation, the world will be your oyster. I don't see that changing any time soon since 1 bedroom villas are "the worst deal" in DVC.
