So sorry your new hotel wasn't as nice. That really is a small room. I thought the place we stayed at near Times Square had small rooms, but yours is like a cabin on cruise ship. Actually, the cabins on cruise ships are bigger
Glad your birthday was otherwise nice though. The hotel has a great view though. The new building and memorial are really beautiful. I really would like to see them. The only time we have been to New York was within a year or two of 9/11. They were still dismantling stuff and everything was fenced off. We watched the 9/11 incidents very closely. We were supposed to fly to Germany for my first European trip the day after. We watched them replay the first one on television and then saw the second building get hit live. As sad as it is, I am reminded to live life to the fullest for the people that died that day. I think I would have been in tears at the memorial. I totally thought of Working Girl when you mentioned the ferry
You are really moving fast through this report.
