25th Anniversary trip taken at 26.5 years-December to Remember-NEW 6/11 - Pg 19

My wonderful children have gifted me with a 72 hour trip to relax by MYSELF

Will be back later this week!

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Happy Mother's Day, Grammy of 3!

Love your TR! Keep it comin'!

Love your report....

Always thought when that wonderful time came with Grandchildren I would be a nana....but no its got to be Grammy.....Grammy & Pops sort of rolls off the tongue...:)

Wow! It's taken me a couple of days but I've read your whole report and have a couple things to comment on.

Our 20th anniversary was last June - planned a trip for just the 2 of us and instead went in December with both our girls and 2 friends. Our newbies were not nearly as excited or fun as Jkay. We were there December 16th - 26th so we may have crossed paths.

My husband grew up in Stratford, NJ and we are planning a trip to Sea Isle City this summer.

Totally understand the mission space panic attack. I was OK on that but got over to Typhoon Lagoon to swim with the fishes and started panicking on dry land as soon as my mask and snorkel were on. Looked around at the pre-schoolers and thought I can do this. Got in the water, put my head in, floated about 2 feet and needed to be rescued by a life guard. :lmao:

Love your report, I am glad Grampy was feeling well enough to go. And congrats on grand baby #3

I know you are back from the spa, and superwoman that you are, probably all caught up on the mayhem that ensued in your absence. How about a new chapter?

Pwitty pwease?

 Grammy does kinda roll of the tongue :thumbsup2 Just be prepared for EVERYONE to call you Grammy. Somehow it sticks. Worse things could happen - they could be saying "Hey lady with the road map of England by your eyes"

Oh, I am close to Sea Isle. We have actually been in Cape May on and off for the last couple of weeks.

:rotfl2: on being rescued by the life guard. There is no way I could put that on and stick my head under water. Nope, I would have drowned in a teaspoon :3dglasses

Gosh - I feel horrible that I haven't updated in almost a month. I could tell you a sob story or some other half truth. The reality is writing a TR is hard work and time consuming as all get out. I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off, doing stuff. Lots of fun stuff. I am trying to put the finishing touches on the next chapter now, actually the finishing touches include starting it

Thanks for hanging with me and I will be back soon. I am ahead of some others cause at least I am talking about Christmas - they are still filling their pumpkins with candy popcorn::

And in other news - My new grandbaby is a princess: I have to learn to knit before this one is born :upsidedow

Congratulations! :cutie: Good luck with the knitting thing! I actually can knit.... just not so hot on completing items before the baby outgrows it...

In my defense, I started the last sweater before we knew the baby was a boy and I was using up some lilac coloured baby yarn (WHY I have like 10 balls of the stuff I'll never know). Somehow lilac is just not shrieking "boy" at me so there it sits, both front pieces, the back and most of a sleeve. Doesn't matter anymore... even if I finished it, he's now too big (8 weeks and 14lbs!)

PS: I was aiming to be an Amma or Gramma myself but that darn Minnie (2 y/o on Sunday) keeps calling me Baba! :scared1: I'm trying to ignore it but she's pretty insistant.

Grammy, congrats on your new princess: to be, what fun! None in my near future.

My new assistant is a knitting addict, she belongs to several knitting clubs.
Who knew those things existed??????? And she just entered a knitting contest for original pattern where she could win $1,000. And I found out today there are such things as Fiber Festivals, where people go with spinning wheels to sit and spin yarn all day while dressed in Pioneer costumes...

A whole new world I never knew was out there!

Personally, I think crochet is much easier!!!!!!!!! I even made a few things in my time.

Hope Grampy is doing well! Give him my regards.
Now get back to writing!

Congrats on the new Grandbaby! princess:

I can knit, but I am slower than slow! Maybe if I knit half and you knit the other half we could get it done! ;)

Hey Marion - how you doing. Lilac doesn't exactly scream "boy" to me either:rotfl:

I am LMAO at that darn Minnie. They get a thought and it is all over. This is what I did. Talked to the little one while still in the cabbage patch daily saying "Grammy, Grammy is here" Then when she was born I reinforced it about 790 times a day. Truth is her 1st words weren't Da or Ma or anything like that. It was Gee  For a while I thought I would be Gee forever.

Now the 2nd one - well that liitle stinker would only call me "eat" for about forever and a day. Might have had something to do with him thinking I was a pantry or a fridge. :confused3 He only addressed me when it was a food issue. Like I said he is a stinker through and through.

Marita - I did crochet at some point in time, but not sure I remember how. Knitting - never was able to pick it up. Maybe your new assistant could knit for me and I could pretend I did it ;)

Grampy is doing great!!!! Thanks for asking and I will tell him you said hi.

Great review! Love all the pictures. Thank you for sharing.

Busymom - Thanks!!!

Do you happen to have a sleeve in lilac?? I could just get all the pieces and sew them together :cheer2:

I was going to write today - but the princess: is laying on the couch with a bucket  so we shall see.

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Congratulations on your news of the little princess: No grandchildren here, which is fine. Enjoying your TR, and I can wait until you are ready to post the next report. I just check back every now and then. :goodvibes

I saw "New 5/9"
Somehow in my head I thought, hey, today's 5/9!!!! :cool1:

But the harsh cruel reality hit me.

Today is 6/9 not 5/9.
