23 Days to First Visit Home

I've been reading your posts (throughout the Disboards, but especially on this forum) for over 6 mos now and am finally posting.

First, thanks for all the info. DH (and 2DDs who are too young to realize what we've done right now) bought 150 BCV pts last year and are coming up on our first visit to BCV SOON!

Okay, so SAB is going to be partially closed, Cinderella's carousel will be closed, Ariel's grotto will be closed, IASW is closed, we just miss Stitch opening (although thanks to you guys and your info, I know what a soft opening is and I think we'll get to do it!), but we've been planning for this vacation for over a year and we need it badly and I'm psyched! DH is a little more grouchy about all these rehabs/closures, but I just figure that when you get to go each year you take your chances!!

So, I've done the Hotwire thing--bought tix and vouchers--and the dollar store thing--have my over the door shoe holder for sink stuff, and now I'm itching to pack!

Thanks to all of you for all the great info and good vibes and I'm already planning next year, so my questions are developing!!

We should be there around the same time!! It is our first trip HOME too! We just bought points in OKW in AUgust. Thanks to these boards, I know alot about what to expect. I am just hoping that this no kids trip will be magical for DH since I convinced him that he wanted to buy into DVC Maybe we will see you there!! Have a great time!
