21 cent check from Disney..let's shop!

Must be that time of year again...Got the $.21 check for DD's one share of Disney stock (a memento framed and hanging on her bedroom wall)! WooHoo! Thankfully, her other shares are on paper and dividends get re-invested. It's almost embarrassing to take $.21 to the bank.

I wish there was an option to just let you donate these checks to a charity, it would save Disney money too since they would only have to write one check. I will bet it adds up to a LOT of money!

Our electric coop gives all current customers "capitol credits" on our next bill rather than a check which takes time & $$ to process & mail.

I know our coop is NOT a large one but if they can get through the beaucratic bull to NOT give us all checks every year ... sometimes several times a year ...

Disney being the large corp it is should be able to put these dividends to a non profit ... maybe Give Kids the World or Make a Wish Foundation.

Maybe they just need to hear from stock holders of this ???
