It'll come through eventually! No busy signal, just a message that all our agents are too buy, please call back, then the call cuts off.
Took us 45 min of hold time, FYIOn hold for 34 minutes now.
Wow, same exact timing here for 2 staterooms!1 hr 20 minutes from going on hold to finish booking. That was for 2 staterooms though. Whew!
I’d ask on the DCL forum - lots of experience and help there! https://www.disboards.com/forums/disney-cruise-line-forum.9/So how do we get from London to Southampton? I can't say which airport yet until we start to look at airfare. I know the train system is great in U.K. Thinking to spend a night there before boarding.
Here is Disney info on various transfer options. You would book thru MS but options should still be the same.So how do we get from London to Southampton? There are plenty of private transfer providers for airport to London, airport to Southampton, and London to Southampton transfers. There are also train and bus options. Finally, on the sailing day, DCL will have airport to port bus transportation available and may also have London to port buses available, all at an additional per person fee. Costs for most of the bus or train options will depend on the number of people in your party. Private transfers may be priced per trip, so long as you select a vehicle consistent with the size of your travel party. When we did the westbound transatlantic cruise last October as a party of two, we used Twelve Transfers (https://www.twelvetransfers.co.uk/destinations/heathrow-airport-taxi-transfers/ ) from Heathrow to our London hotel where we stayed four nights pre-cruise. We then used them from London to Southampton for the cruise. The convenience of scheduling private transfers is worth the cost premium for us, since we’ve reached an age where wrangling our own luggage on trains and/or buses is no longer a good option. So how do we get from London to Southampton?
