We have spring break next year 3/13-3/17. Our kids also get out of school on May 26th. We have been the week after memorial day before and also the first full week in June. We have never been during spring break, but I believe our SB week might fall earlier than most? From those who have experienced both times which is better over all including weather, heat, and crowds? Mid march or late May/early June?

Easter isn't until April 16, so you're a full month ahead of that crowd. Colleges will probably be on spring break, but I can't imagine it will be any more crowded than the week after Memorial Day. Weather will be better in March than May/June, not quite as humid. My vote is for the March week.

We have done almost that exact time for the past two years, 2015 & 2016. It's our Spring Break. A lot of Texas is out around this time. This year was busier than last, probably because it was the week before the week of Good Friday. 2015 was really far away from Easter, just like next year. The weather is really nice. Flower & Garden are going on at Epcot. We have not been at Memorial Day though. I notice that both trips, the week started out less busy and got busier as time went on. The parks also don't stay open as late as they would in May. Depending upon how early they open, it may even be dark or sunrise when you get there. I like that time of year and would do it again.

It'll be busy no matter when you go. Go in March and try to beat the high humidity that will be on its way.

It's so brutal right now outside with the humidity.

And that is an early spring break. In SW FL our spring break for next year is April 10-17. However around Disney all the kids in that county will be on spring break the same time as you, March 13-17

We usually go the end of March begins of April...a few years back we went in June and it was BRUTAL! Between the heat, the humidity, and the random 3pm raining cats and dogs thunder storms every day lol we won't be visiting in June anymore. Next year I booked our trip even earlier. We are due to check in on 3/19 and check out on 3/25, so I am hoping that crowds will be even a little lighter since Easter is a little later next year. Plus I am hoping the weather will be fantastic lol. When we were there in 2014 we were in actual sweatshirts until about 9-10 in the morning and then again when the sun went down. There was hardly any humidity and the whole trip the high was around 75...here's to hoping we have weather like that again lol

Another vote for a March trip. This is usually when we go, and the weather is usually very good.

Are you saying that you think going on a Spring Break year that's far away from Easter is better for the crowds? We have the same spring break as you and I'm considering the same two weeks you are!

I live in Ontario Canada and that is our kids march break week. Not only grand schools but high schools as well just thought I would give u heads up about that.

I vote March. The week in June shouldn't be too crowded but the March weather will be better. A couple of years ago we froze in March (I think it was a fluke). Also NC State's spring break is March 6th-10th.

Yes. I think in 2015, when we went 3/17-21, it was a little less crowded, by 1-2 points on the Touring Plans crowd level scale. I am comparing this to this year, 3/15-20. Good Friday was the following week. It seemed a little bit more crowded. I am not talking a significant difference, like an 8 versus a 2. It was more like a 6 or 7 versus and 8 or 9 at some parks on some days. Also, the earlier in the week both years, the parks seemed slightly less crowded, a point or two, than toward the end of the week.

Thank you everyone for you replies. I think we are leaning towards March during our Spring Break this next year. We used to go in off times and take the kids out of school, but with our oldest going into high school this fall that is no longer going to be an option for us, and I agree there really is no off time now as it seems the parks are crowded no matter what time you go! We just got back a few weeks ago (June 4th- 10th) and the crowds were probably the thickest that WE have ever experienced in our previous trips. But the heat.....oh the heat and humidity were intense! I'm talking sweating at 8am rope drop hot lol....and we have been in Aug and Sept before too! From what you guys are saying it sounds like the the weather in March will be a bit more bearable than what we have experienced in June. We have been in early May and Dec and both of those trips I remember the weather being very ideal, especially Dec that was amazing! :goodvibes

We are like the same person! Haha! We've been in Dec and LOVE the weather. Just returned from a June 5-13 trip and it was crowded and HOT!! We are contemplating a March trip next year. I teach, so we are locked in to a school schedule. I figure if we have to go during crowded times of the year, I want good weather to go along with it!!

we went last year june3rd to june 10th and it busy. You will never hear me say it is hot outside but the other people in our party said it was very hot out. watching the daytime parade on main street it was over 100 degrees. I am starting to believe like the rest of the people it doesn't matter there are no low crowds or slow time. Something is always going on.
