2017 WDW Dining Plan Info

Looks like all the non Disney restaurants such as the Rainforest family are gone. Is this just not part of this release or did I miss a memo?

Those will be added later. Restaurants run by third parties are usually not on the list when it first comes out but they will be added.

I personally really like the idea of two snacks instead of those nasty desserts that you get with QS meals. They are gross. And im sorry but i dont want dessert with my burger and fries. The point of quick service is to be...quick. i wanna shove some somewhat nasty, definitely bad you, food down my throat and rush back to whatever we were doing lol greasy burger doesnt necessarily mix well with chocolate cake

Lets hope they add STK steakhouse! If thats the case 2 TS meals would be an incredible value from what ive seen of that restaurant

That kind of restuarant might not be on the dining plan because of its pricing.
Yea i figure that. Thats what would make it such a great value. They have to bring some sort of value back to the DDP besides having it all taken care of up front

I see what you mean. On the websites details for each plan it is the old way, 1 snack and desserts with meals. But the pamphlet has the plans listed with the changes. Somebody's messed up.

I don't understand where you are seeing this.... I am showing it for this years still shows the desert with the QS meal and 1 snack...

Are you maybe still looking at the 2016 Dining plan instead of the 2017 or am I just missing it?

I called Disney and the CM said the new 2017 plan will remove the quick service dessert and have two snack credits. Great for the regular plan and super lousy for the quick service plan.

No, that's what I thought they were doing too. Until I looked at it myself. Go to the Disney dining plan site. You will see the 2016 and 2017 pamphlet PDFs on the right. Those are the correct "new" plan with the changes. Instead go further down the page, where you see 2017 Vacation Packages. These links have wrong information for these 2017 plans. They list dates for 2017 not 2016. Here's an example, scroll down to the bottom where it details what you get with the plan.

I see it now... Thank you. I am in agreement that I am thinking this is a mistake.

I believe you still get a dessert with the sit down TS, just no longer with the QS.

I hope you are right !! Basically then with the cs meal you could use the SC then for dessert OR wait to get something really good later !!! I am sure the price will go up at least $5 a day if mot more !! I soooo miss when the DDP included appie and dessert tax and tip !!! As I recall it was about $37 a day !!
