Interesting I just received a unique code for May and June stay, play, and dine type of thing. Bookings really maybe down. That's the second this week. The other was the discount for spring that really wasn't a discount.

She could. But she'd have to wait until the phone lines open to do so (if there's no modify button online in MDE).

My point is - if FD goes live at 4 am, she risks the chance of hundreds of people snapping up the best inventory online because there was no way to properly "modify"...
:thumbsup2

Yay! Our dates are in the window, I can't wait until Monday!!!! That is when it all goes down right? supposedly....?

Just something I thought of and wanted to clarify....is this supposed to go live on Sunday 4/24 at 4am or Monday morning 4/25 at 4am?

Which is exactly why I'm wondering if I should go ahead and switch resorts from POFQ to CSR now so all I'm doing is adding free dining if it comes out Monday morning. Wouldn't my chances of being able to do it online be better if I don't have to switch resorts?

Can FD be used on a split stay? Our last split stay was booked through a TA as two separate reservations so tix were tied to the first part. Could FD be applied to split stay trip if both resorts are included in the promotion?

Does anyone know if FD will appear for Canadians at the same time?

It should all be the same, in my experience. The only difference I have seen is when they had Canadian-only Cruise specials, and that just came with a warning that someone over age 18 in the party had to produce a Canadian passport. The only difference I've experienced is, as a dual citizen, calling the 407 # in the US I *think* I got a choice between English or Spanish, where this week when I called the same # from Canada, I was given a choice of English or French. ;-)

Meanwhile, I'll spend the weekend angsting over whether I want a trip with FD and a MVMCP, OR a trip with both a MNSSHP and a MVMCP. I've been holding out hope for that first week of Nov to get added, but it's quietly dying.

Sorry if this has already been posted, I don't have time to read through but wanted to post what I found. Air Canada Vacations is showing free dining details with booking beginning April 25th. Looks like the dates and details match what the SA site has been posting.

You can find details by going to the site (http://vacations.aircanada.com/catalog/maywesuggest.do?promotion=14419&sortedBy=Name), clicking your hotel and going to the promotions tab. It looks like it only shows exclusions for resorts of the same level (ie. value exclusions when viewing the details of another value) so make sure you are looking at the correct room level.

You could. But you can't just add FD, not in the way you are thinking. X amount of room(s) will be released in the FD pool and a CM has to modify your current reservation, even if it's the same room type, by placing you in that available inventory.

Yes, you can apply FD to your reservations as long as it is available. But your TA would have to be the one to do it.

You can't click on the "change reservation" button and then select a special offer and modify it from there? I always thought that was an option.

Well if I have to talk to a CM anyway, I'll just wait. I had noticed under "Change Reservation" that you could change your "Vacation Offer" and it would give you the available options, including special offers (which I'm assuming would include free dining). Guess that would be too easy, huh? ;)
