OK, just so I'm clear, if they release overnight as a FD DV first then GP later, phones open at 7am EST. There is no way to book or make changes with Visa online, phone only, correct? Or no?

If it does open up for everyone tomorrow, it could potentially open up at midnight. It probably won't, but there's always that chance. I'm going to stay up and see.

Can somebody help me? When upgrading to deluxe dining from regular at a moderate would the free dining be better or would the room only be? We're 2 adults...

I will be up to! If TA's sites are going wack, there is a chance it might go straight to GP tomorrow ( I don't have a DV yet). I would hate to sleep tonight and miss it...

I'm definitely going but don't have a room booked.
Already have 2x non refundable ressies (DVC rental and Sapphire Falls) for remainder of vacation.
Just waiting to book first few nights - dependant on fall offers.
FD is not a deal breaker but this thread is keeping me entertained 

we're staying at sapphire falls also! when we do universal, we always do it before our disney trip 4 nights. did you get the $150 dining credit? so excited to try it. and that they have hte boat. we loved cabana bay, but even tho the buses were bery prompt, Royal Pacific has us spoiled with the boats.

That is a good question and I wondering the same thing. Guess we will wait to see what happens.

If the promo releases for dv, will we be able to get some confirmation on whether the dates are accurate? I didn't pad my reservation unnecessarily (we were booked to check in on the 29th right when they released 2016 availability...I just added the 28th in case that was really the last date in November) but I do want to do a room only on either the front or end to save a little depending on what dates are released. I'm thinking I could call this weekend and drop the night? If it is true you can't modify once free dining is applied.

Good to know! My Husband is my only family (no kids), but he's pretty happy and supportive with my FD craze at the moment.

So, what I was reading is that some people think the offer for DV will release at midnight or tomorrow? TA's have had sites down all day so they are speculating FD release tomorrow? I could be very wrong, but if the TA says sites are down wouldn't that mean it would go to straight GP? Can TA's get first dibbs on FD like DVC holders can? I'm trying to understand all of this....Last year it went straight to GP so I didn't have all these questions....

If it is a DV release, that would not be until 7:00 tomorrow morning. If it went straight to GP then yes, I suppose they could surprise us anytime.

We just won't stop.....booking trips, talking, speculating, staying up late, getting up early.....The fun doesn't have to end.

I hear ya there. I had quite a few posts last year on the Candlelight Processional thread but nothing like this one.

HDD....absolute favorite. A must every time we go and it's our thanksgiving dinner every year. By the way, they will say it's unlimited beer, wine, and sangria. But there's a limit! Anyone know what happens when you get cut off???

Back when I was younger and stayed with my family at Ft Wilderness one of my sister and my favorite things to do was sit on the rockers drinking our refillable mugs of root beer and watch the drunk people leave HDD. We still have those mugs that were grandfathered in when they weren't for life anymore, and once in a while still chuckle about this one couple that wandered down to the beach and Never came back. (The boats had stopped for the night)

Looking for the answer to this as well. Has there been any talk underground about October dates being added? And what about RO discounts? Are those still speculated to release at the same time as FD?
