What time should we start looking?

Looking for the answer to this as well. Has there been any talk underground about October dates being added? And what about RO discounts? Are those still speculated to release at the same time as FD?

The only variation seems to be when the promotion starts in November - 11th or 15th, but so far I haven't seen any rumors on here about adding days in October. And no word about RO yet that I've seen.

I wasn't here last year, but was there more chatter/rumors right before it actually dropped? Today has been very, very quiet from those in the know which leads me to believe maybe nothing is happening tomorrow (not that I won't be up making sure!).

I have had the same thought! Talk about dining and fast passes and airfare....but doesn't seem quite as fun haha!

If it is a DV release, that would not be until 8:00 tomorrow morning. If it went straight to GP then yes, I suppose they could surprise us anytime.

I thought the phone lines for DV (or Disney in general on any day) open at 7:00 EDT (EST).?

I'm not sure - I figure starting around midnight I'll just keep calling in like I'm trying to win a radio contest. Hang up, redial, talk to a CM, hang up, redial, talk to a CM, repeat. The CMs will love that!!

I was here last year as well and it sure seemed like there was a lot more chatter going on and much more speculation, but maybe my memory is failing me ~ or it could be shear exhaustion. And I agree, very quiet from the ones who know the most

Well, this is second hand as I didn't do this myself. Just from reading the reports last year. Some had padded their reservations with say an extra day in front and behind until they were sure of their travel dates. Then they would subtract or add later etc. Disney ended up making them basically rebook the FD trip instead of just adjusting, so if your new dates were not available for the "new" reservation then it couldn't be booked. Even if say you already had 10 days and we're just reducing to 8 within the range you already had. It messed some people up. You're safer to do the dates you are for sure going. You might not be able to change later and keep FD based on availability.

Does anyone know for sure if you can book say 10 days and then cut it down to 8 (everything else the same just go 2 days later) and not lose your free dining?

No, you can no longer do this...............I tried, CM had to rebook it and my standard level room was not available, I only wanted to take away a day

The rumor mill never addresses a Visa release. It's always a "wait and see". Chances are, if they don't release it to Visa tomorrow, and Monday's date remains solid...then it will likely just go to the public all at once. Only one time did they actually move a Visa release from a Thursday to a Friday (which many claimed to be because of the rumors).

So it sounds like a bunch of folks will have an alarm set to 6:50am tomorrow morning.
