does anyone know the current character meal prices for breakfast? both for adults and children
Good morning! Can anyone tell me how often there is Gu in the course? Every water stop? Also, want to train to the right thing, is it Gu? Thank you for your help!
Thank you! I figured I'd try what they were giving out first, but I bought 4 different kinds to try over the next several weeks to see what works best. But if they only have them at one stop, I will definitely have to figure a way to bring some with me.They have Cliff Shots out at around mile 8-9, usually, and just that one stop. Anything else is up to you to bring. Just remember to find what works for you during your training runs, be it Cliff Shots, Gu, or something else.

Mil leech and Miranda, try the Shot Bloks, sport beans and other solid forms of fuel, too. I have serious texture issues and just can't do the gels. I fuel all my runs with Shot Bloks (Orange and Margarita) and I know other people who love the sport beans.
Either the pockets if I'm wearing a Sparkle Skirt (love those pockets!) or I use a Spibelt and tuck whatever I need in there - usually my phone since I do most of my runs alone, keys, and Shot Bloks. What do you do to carry the shot blocks?

Ran my first half marathon this past weekend! I'm working on a recap (actually, all three race recaps) that I'll put on my W.I.S.H. journal later tonight. I didn't meet my goal time, but I'm still happy with how I finished. I stuck religiously to my intervals (this was my first long run using them), so my pace was consistent - I mean, give or take 5-10 seconds either direction each mile - and I finished strong. The course ended up being INCREDIBLY hilly and the last four miles of the half were spent with a legit 20mph head wind. I felt like I was running with a parachute on!
