2015 Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend ** Check-In ** May 7-10, 2015

No Pixie Dust Challenge for me. I think I'll walk enough around the parks after race day.

Like a PP said, we unfortunately wont know until the Expo but as we get closer and they start releasing the official logos and medals you can kind of get an idea what things will look like. The pins tend to match up with the logos and medals almost exactly, and the jackets are usually a solid color with a small logo on the front, on one of the sleeves and then I believe last years had a design on the back. I can find photos of the previous years on my next days off.

I just registered my DD and I for the 5K. I complained that the Challenge was too much $ and now I just spent $20 more than if I had just registered for the Challenge. The bright side is I will do 5K less. Yes, I am crazy and I am sleep deprived.

Great! I am actually in Steveston great runs here. Doing training right now for Portland half and I have a group of girls going to the first Rock N Roll event held in Vancouver. Girls in the 10k and half. Love to hook up one day. You will have fun at tinker bell last year was my first Disney run I loved it. Wish I could do more of them ! We have a group that runs three days a week Tues, Fri, Sundays out of the Steveston community center.

Proof that Disneyland runners aren't as crazy obsessive as WDW runners: nothing is sold out yet.

Even the 10k is only at 98% capacity and the Challenge is still at 90% (if only PHM registration was slower like the Tink Half...then I'd have pursued my first Coast to Coast next year, but oh well).

Fridays at 8 meet at the front desk of community center easy 40 mins 10 and 1's 4 times. Yoga core class at 9:30 @the center drop in if you can make it. Love to meet you small world!

Definitely stick with the boards here leading up to the race weekend. We'll try and put a meet together when it gets closer to race day (for silly locals like me who may still be working during the festivities and have to wait for our schedules, lol).

With the addition of Avengers and Star Wars it looks like the days of 15 minute DL sell outs may finally be over, at least I hope so, I hated that stress.

We're past 12 hours since registration opened and only the kids races and the 10k are sold out.
