Oh no! That would've been horrible! So what did you end up registering for? The 1/2 or challenge? Did you decide on the 5k yet?

Challenge! As if there was really ever any doubt Despite my back and forth talks. I'm just too much a sucker for these inaugural races! Now I just have to tell myself no next year.

yeah, yeah, yeah. Best laid plans and all that jazz. In my defense though, I didn't sign up for Dumbo this year, so I think I can stop myself. When they finally give us a breather between adding new events in I can finally start being more selective in what I register for!

Well, over an hour in and the only events that are sold out are two of the kids races: the diaper dash and the 200M! Haven't seen registration for a Disneyland Race like this in awhile!

I had DH register for me since I had a scheduling conflict this morning, but I am in for the half! I managed to resist the lure of the pixie dust challenge (this year). Once I get through all of these inaugural races I think I'm going to only do 2 DL events a year. Tink will be one of them, at least through the 5th year!

After 2.5 hrs the 1/2 is at 50%, the Challenge is still at 80%, the 10k is at 70%, and the 5k is at 60%.

I'm in for the challenge! Yay. I had two computers, my iPad, iPhone and a gf trying to get in, all we got is a white screen. My hubby at work tried on iPad,couldn't get on. He finally was able to on his work computer. Shhhh, we won't tell. That was stressful, but I'm in!

You sound like me! I wasn't sure w/ the new challenge so I had my ipad and computer up and on the link and the rundisney page and just kept refreshing all of them over and over until it went live.

Disney just announced Pandora will be coming to the parks AND sponsoring the Tinkerbell Half!
It's on the Disney Parks Blog and Twitter.

Think they will make a race charm? I would def want one.

DH and I are not running next year but our girls (5 and 3) are Got them into the Kids races (100M and 200M). Wow that runDisney website sucks bad. I had to log back in for each child, then log back in for each pin/necklace purchase.

Anyway, I checked at 11:30 PST and the 200M was sold out already and at 1pm the 100M was sold out. Craziness!

Now I get the rest of the year to figure out tutus and wings for my girlies. So much fun!!

I am in for the challenge (10 k & half) and the 5k.
My daughter is doing the 5k with me.
This will be my 4th year in a row doing the Half, and my 2nd year in a row doing the 10k as well.
We are staying in a kids suite at the Howard Johnson.

This will likely be my 20th half marathon...FUN!

Like a PP said, we unfortunately wont know until the Expo but as we get closer and they start releasing the official logos and medals you can kind of get an idea what things will look like. The pins tend to match up with the logos and medals almost exactly, and the jackets are usually a solid color with a small logo on the front, on one of the sleeves and then I believe last years had a design on the back. I can find photos of the previous years on my next days off.
