You can't book ANY packages for next yet.

The Better Together package was introduced this February good for packages through the end of this year. We don't if they will offer it next year.k

yes - I was trying for May, 2015. The CM said it would the end of July before he would get any information of next year rates.

I am hoping that some of the earlier posts are correct and the 2015 packages come out this week.

Just tried to book a ticketless package (I have an AP) - call the regular reservations line - they said they couldn't do it - is there a trick - or should I have called the AP line?

Call again. I called this morning and booked it- and I do NOT have an AP. THe CM you spoke with is a moron

Lol. We've planned our honeymoon for Feb 2015 and my fiance has accused me on numerous occasions that I'm excited to get married just so I can honeymoon at Disney.

I'm right there with you girls, our HM is June 2015, and my fiance said I talk about that more than the wedding itself..

This waiting for 2015 packages is killing me! I can't stinkin' wait to book!! Just release them already, Disney!! I'm so ready for this countdown to feel official! 498 days until we're there!

We're booking a split stay for early January through Marathon weekend. We need room-only reservations and we have APs.

Online CM: Yesterday, an online chat CM told me they had no specific date for online reservations, but that we could call in our reservation. When I asked for a timeframe for online booking, he said "late summer."

AP Phone Line CM: I called the AP line today. The CM said online booking would be available in about two weeks, when the packages are released. I asked to book over the phone. She asked whether we are participating in Marathon Weekend, and I said yes. She said she cannot book my resort reservation over the phone, and that she would have to connect me with "sports." I've heard not-so-great things about applying future discounts to bookings through runDisney, so I did not stay on the line.

Right now, I'm planning to book the room only reservation online when that's available. I'm reluctant to book over the phone because phone CMs often seem confused and we have a split stay among three different resorts with my husband joining us at only one of those - so there are several different pieces and I'd rather just take care of it on my own and online. As for ADRs, I'll just make my ADRs beginning tomorrow and one day at a time. We're not looking for ADRs that are too terribly difficult to book, so I'll just do 180 days ahead for each, rather than the 180 + 10.

Over the past couple years, online reservations have been available around July 9 or 10. The year before that, they were available in June. So I'm hoping the "2 weeks" estimate is more accurate than the "late summer estimate."

You can book a room only reservation 499 days in advance. But, since the 2015 rates aren't out yet, if the prices go up (which they usually do), the rate will be adjusted.

Packages can't be booked until the 2015 package prices come out. The past two years, they were released mid-July. For several years, the rates didn't come out until mid-August. Once the 2015 prices are published, you can book a package.

I understand that part. But I was under the understanding that ROOM rates come out in July, and package rates in August. I could of swore I read that somewhere. But I must of made it up haha. All this planning is making me crazy!

They usually come out at the same time. The waitin' is the hardest part isn't it? I was ready to book our May/June, 2015 trip while we were still on our 2014 two week trip.

Wow!! 16 days!! We want to go with you. lol We only get 11 days. I am also just ready to get it booked. At least I will know the worst case scenario and then if a discount is offered, we will jump on it.

Is there a reason it's so flipping secret? I really don't see why it's not announced when prices come out. Obviously many people within the company know the official date--lots of IT staff I bet! I don't see why we can't be told when packages will open up. I can't believe that they wait until last second to decide pricing. I guess if this is the worst part of trip planning that's still not that big of a deal but it's really irritating. I want to give them $4000. I'd love to know WHEN.

This sooo sounds like me. Every single year, I think "Oh what if we stay at X resort?" or possibly at "Y resort?" or "should we splurge and stay at Z resort?" Ultimately, we end up at the CBR which is our home away from home. I am ready to book our two week trip but I can't. Come on Disney!

I don't think that the phone or online chat CMs even know when they will be released until a day or two before (if they get that much of a heads up). I am sure that Disney won't give them an exact date simply because it would cause too much chaos if they didn't come out on that same day. It would be nice if they were at least told the same thing instead of all of us gettting different answers. Like you, I'm ready to give 'em my money.

Me to!!! October can't come any sooner! DH thinks I'm crazy for planning this far in advance. When they start releasing rates do they do it 1 month at a time or a few months?
