2014 WDW Rates Question

Like many of you I'm planning a 2014 trip and waiting for the hotel rates to be released. In general, what percentage have the rates gone up each year? Is it resort-specific or do the rates usually increase a flat percentage across the board? I know no one has a crystal ball, but I was wondering about what kind of percentage-wise increase we could possibly expect.

I was just about to post the same question. We're traveling in January and I know what the rates are now but wanted to estimate how much the price would go up for 2014. Can anyone help us?

I have the same question. What time of year, typically, does Disney release the next year's rates?

I believe it is end of May, Early June.

It's not only the rate increase but in recent years they have changed the seasons so that can throw a wrench into your calculations. Used to just be value, regular, peak, holiday. Now there's several more. Mid December (13 to 19) went from value or fall season last year to peak season this year.
