I'm good with that. There are only so many games of candy crush one can play in the middle of the night. I would much rather plan dream trips while I wait on early December rates to appear. ;)

:thumbsup2 Totally understand!

Yes, we're at the stage where we no longer do commando touring, so the lounge access is nice. It's between CR and GF but we are leaning towards CR for the short walk to MK. My kids like to pop over and stay for an hour or two then go back to the resort.

Both CLs are so nice...but you cannot beat the walk back and forth from the CR...As I mentioned our recent stay at the CR CL was wonderful..beautiful lounge...great views of the MK and fireworks too...

Hello, all my dear GFers.

We are home following two months in the US! My goodness, we had a grand time. I will need to sit and process for a while before I can give all the details of our May stay in the RPC. But, before I can sit and process I must attend to a mountain of laundry!

:goodvibes Glad that you had such a GRAND vacation! Looking foward to hearing all about it...As for the laundry ...its never ending isn't it....

I don't have a problem using the H2O products at the resorts. As long as it's a separate shampoo & Conditioner. I like the GF H2O. Sometimes I bring a leave in or Argan oil for extra conditioning, especially in summer when my blond hair can get fried in the Florida sun.

Thanks Blueskies & k&a&c for pool info, towel situation etc. I was just reading BC/YC thread, someone just posted SAB lifeguards were doing freq towel sweeps, and Band checks. Nice to hear they're aware of the problem.
49 days!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

H2O products are all so nice..:thumbsup2 And there is definitely a separate shampoo and conditioner..and body wash too...:lovestruc

Your welcome about the pool info I was very glad too see that they are in tune to the problem...::yes::

That's a good idea! I think that I'm going to give it a try this trip!

I'm not really picky - I guess I'm always scared that there won't be conditioner in the room but it seems like they always supply shampoo and conditioner?

Yay for the iPod info! Super happy to hear that! I think that I'll give the H2O products a try on this trip as I'm not picky! Just concerned about running out? But I assume they'll resupply it, right?

Excellent! Thank you!

Is it always a separate shampoo and conditioner? Just want to be sure!

Thanks everyone! I know that it seems like a silly thing but if I can avoid packing just one more thing, it always helps out! You are all so helpful!!

Def separate products for the shampoo and conditioner...and they smell so nice too...I understand about no wanting to add another thing into the suitcase....:crowded:

Good morning. Just trying to catch up before our long weekend trip to the beech. Hoping for the sun to come out :)

Oh a beach weekend...enjoy!!! We are planning one of those too...:beach: Let hope for no storms!

k&a&c'smom Sorry that things have been so hectic...always happy to see you! Thanks as always for your sage advice! :goodvibes and accurate information!

MickeyNut Totally OT..but....The Bulls can NOT have Melo!!! ;)

Raya Thanks you for the restaurant info during the specialty parties..it doesn't make much sense to me?? I am sure there are probably plenty of party attendees who would like a nice sit down dinner....

Hello fellow GF fans! Hope that everyone is having a terrific Thursday! :earsgirl: preppy GF gal who is determined to find dining for her MVMCP nite! :santa:

I thought it was just us who spent a lot of time at the resort...it's just hubby and I. On our honeymoon we got up late, spent 2-3 hours in the park, and came back to the hotel for the rest of the day. That's how we fell in love with WL :)

Awww, sounds like you had a lovely honeymoon. We love WL, too, so pretty.:lovestruc

Thank you!!:goodvibes

You're welcome!:goodvibes

I hope everything gets sorted out quickly .

Aww, you're welcome....that is nice of you to say, thank you :goodvibes. I am anxiously awaiting the release of the 2015 rates, so I have been trying to keep up on it ;).

....
Add us to the list of those that spend a lot of time at the resort. We go for maybe an hour or two in the morning and sometimes maybe an hour (or two) in the evening, but not even every day. We love our resort time and enjoy the relaxtion :cloud9:.

Thanks, I hope so, too. I'm ready for that mess to end!

Good luck with the 2015 rates, they should be out any day, right? I know it used to be August, but didn't they come out in July last year? Or is my old brain failing me?:teeth:

Your touring/resort schedule sounds exactly like ours.::yes::

Hey, you! Glad to hear from you, and that you had a magical vacation with us Americans.;)

Love to hear all about your trip, but don't rush - you need to bask in the after-Disney dream before you hop back into everyday.:cloud9:

Only 49 days woohoo!! Sounds like the CMs are still trying to keep the chair situation under control, good to know.

Good idea about the extra conditioning. Not only the sun, but the extra time in the pool can dry out hair.:beach:

Is there a link somewhere for the GF Convention schedule? Just wondering if anything was happening while we were there (Sept 9-19).

Hmmm...I think I've seen one, but don't remember where. There is a separate Disney site for the Convention Center, but I don't remember if it has such a list. Seems like there is a thread on the DIS about it, if I have time I'll do a search.:flower3:

Not a silly question, lots of people have wondered about whether to bring their own.::yes::

Yes, separate shampoo and conditioner at the deluxe resorts. Don't worry about running out, if you think the amount supplied each day (and it is supplied twice a day, once in the a.m. and once in the evening during turn down), either chat with your mousekeeper or call housekeeping and ask for more to be sent up and/or noted you need extra. You will likely have far more than you need, lol, we were all just discussing how we have to save room in our suitcases for the stash we carry home.;)

Does anyone know about the robes in the standard rooms? Are they the same as the CL robes? Has anyone ever bought one?

:wave2:Hello everyone! Hope your Thursday is going smoothly.

I have a question. I'm thinking about having a case of water shipped to GF from Staples or Costco. Does anyone know if they charge the $10 per box fee like the Epcot resorts? Is the GF considered a convention hotel?

Thanks.:)

Yes, it is a convention hotel. I've heard you need to be careful how you address your groceries to avoid the fee, but can't remember which address to use. ?? We've never done it, hopefully someone who has will know.:scratchin

In the past they were the same, but I'm not sure about now.

Good point, I was just going to answer they ARE the same, but with the recent renovations it is possible they are not. Not likely they were changed, but possible.

We have not purchased any, MaggiesMomNJ.

Hello, posting buddy!:chat: I nearly missed your post! Thanks about things being hectic, I'll be glad for it to wind down.

CR CL has been getting a lot of great press lately, sounds wonderful.:goodvibes

Good luck with your dining plans and have a wonderful beach weekend. What a lovely thought.:beach:

A lot of experience with the H2O products at the resorts. First, they will definitely bring you more if you call housekeeping!

Second, they are separate products: Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, and lotion. I like all of them, though the conditioner is my least favorite.

If you have dry hair, you might not like the products as much. I have very thin fine hair that would be fine with no conditioner. If I had super dry hair, I might bring my own conditioner. I also find the shampoo a little thick and hard to spread, so I always add some water when it is in my hand. I love the body wash and the lotion.

:)

Thanks for your response. I guess they would charge me the fee then.

Love your username!:teeth:

Good point, it's possible anyone with dry hair might prefer their own. Now that I'm older, my hair isn't as oily but it is still not dry, so the shampoo works for me. Haven't needed the conditioner, I've never tried it.:)

We love the body wash and lotion, too, the scent always makes me long for the Grand.~sigh~

Thanks for your response. I guess they would charge me the fee then.

Well, there is a way to avoid it - you have to have it delivered to the right address. I'll see if I can figure out which one it is.

Hey, here's the thread - it's a sticky at the top of the Resorts board called "INFO: Shipping to Your Resort"! Read through the first post, especially, but there is more info throughout.

HTH!:sunny:

I always bring my own hair products since personally I prefer using what my hairs used to. The rest of the family uses the floridians and no complaints so I do think it's very good. I think it's also a case if you don't mind carrying your own in your luggage ... I bring half full bottles with me and then use it or toss it before coming home since my luggage is full of souvenirs. I do use the hotels soaps and lotions and they smell incredible : )

MickeyNut Totally OT..but....The Bulls can NOT have Melo!!! ;)

:rotfl::rotfl:

Rumor has it he's spending the weekend in LA to think things over and will announce his decision next week.....I hate this waiting....it's way too stressful for me :rotfl2:.

Thanks, I hope so, too. I'm ready for that mess to end!

Your touring/resort schedule sounds exactly like ours.::yes::

I bet you are.....it's been a crazy couple of months for you :sad2:.

Thanks about the rates. Some people have posted that they might be released July 10, which isn't that far away, so let's hope :wizard:. No, your brain is fine....LOL....you are right about them always being released in August for the longest time. Just a couple of years ago they started coming out earlier. I think one time was as early as June, but I think the last 2 years have been early July ;).

I love going to Disney and just chilling :cloud9:. I do still love the parks, but I could spend all my time at the resort as just being there makes it all worth while for me :goodvibes.

CR CL has been getting a lot of great press lately, sounds wonderful.:goodvibes

I agree. I have seen a lot of great reviews about CR CL, making me really want to try it ::yes::.

Ok, thank you both...My mom loved hers and wanted to buy one but forgot.

Does anyone know about the robes in the standard rooms? Are they the same as the CL robes? Has anyone ever bought one?

The robes are the same in both....only the suites have a robe that is a little different..it is a bit heavier with a silky lining...

Hi abk :goodvibes No info from me about the shipping of water. just saying Hi!! lol..Wonder if garden grocer would be another option..and help avoid additional fees..I seem to see that people recommend them alot??

I might want one too :)
