2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival 9/19-11/10

Are the wristband F&W gift cards they sell at the festival center a set amount or can you load them and reload them with as much as you want? If the later will they let you use multiple forms of payment? Have a few visa and American Express gift cards with varying amounts left on them that would like to combine for easier payment.

The DGC are for any amount you want, over $5. We set one up with $600 last year (and had to reload it :scared1:). And yes, you can use multiple forms of payment. I assume they accept other gift cards, if they act like regular credit cards. I would try not to use multiple cards for a single food booth purchase if there are long lines, just in case. ;)

Until menus are placed on the booths, you won't know the prices for sure. Even then, they've changed it after the festival has started from time to time.

It sounds like if you have one that is small enough to fit into a backpack there is a possibility since tripod stands are allowed. But that may be a stretch... Personally, I would hate to have to take it back to the resort after getting to the park.

We are staying at BWI, but now I am changing gears and thinking maybe just some home made table mats with a place for napkins and silverware. thanks for the help!

In case you are asking whether you can take all those gift cards and use them to load a Disney gift card, I know that you cannot use a Disney gift card to load another Disney gift card.

I don't know if you will be allowed to use multiple gift cards (that are not Disney gift cards) to load a Disney gift card. I just know you can't transfer balances between Disney gift cards.

I'm somewhat disappointed with this year's merchandise, at least what's been released so far. They're using the same logo as last year - "Taste your way around the World". In fact, I think the same logo was used for 2012.

I'll be interested to see what the 2014 t-shirt looks like. I think I have one from the past five festivals.

I for one used to look forward to a new theme yearly. Seems they have let that go to save money, possibly.

Can you use the Chase Disney Dollars to load a gift card?

Isn't it just the tag line that's the same? The merchandise that I've seen looks like the artwork is different, isn't it? Tag line being the same doesn't bother me, personally. :)

Not trying to start an argument here but DFB did not update the menus on their website with the correct 2013 prices until the night before the CM preview last year so while technically you are correct the info was not out there prior to night before the soft opening of the 2013 F & W Festival. Also there most definitely were not specific prices on the Official Disney F & W maps for the food booths.

Dang! My memory must be fueled by some F&W delirium cause I swore I knew prices before I went to the CM preview that were accurate. Ohh well it's not like I'm just not doing to do what I do every F&W and spend until my card is just a pile of ash

PFTS reserved seating PO11 on 10/4
And frunch po8 on 10/3 now available

Call in now to get em!

You're welcome ;)

.....just booked [FINALLY!] our airfare to the F&WF. We are now arriving the evening before, so we will be there bright and early the next day!!! I'm SOOOO excited! :cool1::banana::cool1::banana::cool1::banana:

We are a crazy rabid bunch. You can be sure as soon as pricing info shows up somewhere someone here will post a link. I make up cards that I update every year and I can't finish them until I get the prices. I know that last year I verified everything against the pictures that were posted of the menus the first weekend.

If GF means gluten free (I thought Grand Floridian at first) then check the kiosk menu listings on the Disney Food Blog, which notes which items are gluten free. Link is in the first post.
