Everything Park Hopping - Please Read Post 1

I apologize, I'm sure this has been covered before but with the changes I'm still confused.
Long story short(er), we're AP holders, will be staying at BC and planning a 5:30pm Kona Cafe dinner on Sunday Dec 7th. We will be making a park reservation for Epcot and spend the morning there, but thought that it might be fun to go to the Magic Kingdom before dinner and stroll around for a while before their big party starts... but still unclear (especially since it's a weekend) if we can hop to Magic Kingdom without a Magic Kingdom park reservation, and if we can does it have to be after 2pm?..or can it be anytime after we check in to our first park reservation?
Thanks a lot! Sure hope my question makes sense, and any thoughts and opinions are truly appreciated! Hope you all are having a magical day! :goodvibes
As long as you have a reservation to another park AND TAP IN you will be able to enter magic kingdom

My husband and I will be in Florida for a few days in February, and are going to spend 1 day in the parks while we are in Orlando (my birthday!!!). I was going to get a hopper pass as I don't think just him and I need a whole day in MK. We are staying on Disney property, so we have early entry. My husband really enjoys the Avatar ride at AK. Is it silly to head over to AK at early entry and ride that and then go to MK. And if I decide to get LL for day, can I book LL for MK even though I go to AK first?

Not silly at all. Do just that--do DAK for early entry and then hop to MK. If you have the funds, you might want to consider getting LLSP for the Avatar ride. That way you wouldn't have to join the foot race to it at early entry.

And, yes, you can get your LLMP for MK and prebook 3 attractions (7 days in advance if you're staying on-site and 3 days in advance if off-site) even though you're not starting there. No problem at all.

Have fun! And happy birthday!
