2014 Candlelight Processional Reservation

My guess is that by "modify" what the castmember really means, is that he will cancel it and then immediately book you the CP package right after that for the same time you had.
 
I just spoke with a CM a bit ago and they confirmed tomorrow is the day that booking will start for the Candlelight Processional. He said since I already had a restaurant reservation for the restaurant I want to just call in and they can modify it to be a Candlelight Processional Dinner Package instead of my doing it on the online system.

Would anyone say that is the best way since the CM told me by having the reservation I would have a better chance to get a spot or should I utilize the online system and cancel the other reservation after that?

Unless this is new for this year, this isn't correct. An existing ADR can't be modified to be a package, the package needs to be booked specifically.

Im going with this. Unless they have changed the entire way they do the CP. Which I kinda doubt b/c we all know how EASY it is for them to change things on the IT side....:rotfl:

Check on previous pages of this thread. A Dining CM posted if you have a regular ADR for a restaurant that's on the CP Dining Package & for the time that's available for the package/show time, they could modify over the phone. Also, same CM posted packages would be available tomorrow & possibly not the usual 6am/7am EST time frames.

I just wish they had a more complete list of the narrators available ... I know that does not mean it is set in stone, but it would be nice. :thumbsup2
 
I just booked online for 5:45 pm at Via Napoli on Christmas (12/25). Other restaurants were available that evening too.

Just booked it easily! I went to the page to pull it up for tomorrow and looking at me were my times to choose from. Kind of anticlimactic, LOL!
 
Go to the Dining page. At the top of the page, enter the date and time you want and click "Find a Table." After the page refreshes, scroll down to Candlelight Processional Dinner Package - you should see a wide range of options. I just booked Biergarten at 3:35 on 12/22.

FYI - this is a good way to see availability at all restaurants for a specific date/time.

I don't see it either and have tried several spots. Where are you guys seeing availability?

I booked it off of the main dining reservations page; I pulled up dining events (sorted on top) but you don't have to. I chose the date and time and number of people on the top of that page, and after clicking on find a table, on the list was CP and specific restaurants and times from which to choose. Good luck!

I don't have the option to click on it under dining reservations? Am I in the wrong spot?

On the main website page under things to do- make reservations- then just select the date and time you are looking for and when you select find a table it should be after California Grill. You should see all the included restaurants and the times available. Good luck!

Not sure about this - you may want to double check. Mine doesn't specify under my reservations in MDE but does when I select show details. It also did specify it when I actually made the ADR and it also was stated in my ADR confirmation email.

The only thing it didn't state was for what show the seating is - but I know that has been discussed in other posts and other sites.
 
Booked ours for December 28...lunch and the 5:00pm show. I had no idea it came with preferred viewing for Illuminations! We are set for all our dinners. It's our very first time during the holidays. CP on the 28th, Fantasmic Dinner on New Year's Eve, and Be Our Guest Dinner on New Year's Day for our special farewell dinner. That's a new tradition for us. Last year, we ate inside the castle during the fireworks on our last night. This year, we are doing the same but at BOG!

My confirmation is showing up, but it shows just the name of the restaurant, not Candlelight Processional package. However, my confirmation page mentions CP package and my e-mail conformation mentions CP package, so I know I'm all good. I'll definitely keep an eye on it though since it'd be reassuring for it to specify CP.
