2014 Candlelight Processional Reservation

My dates are open. If you search by date you can't click on it. But if you enter "candlelight processional" in the search box in the upper right corner, everything opens up for that day (assuming you put the date and time in).

This is the same way it was for the glitch for me last week so I don't know if it's officially open, but it's there and it's bookable and the one I booked last week shows up in my reservation details as a CP package:confused3

I just tried this but it doesn't show up as a CP package, just as a regular reservation.

I also must have been one of the glitch bookings that took place around 6/24. Currently have Chefs de France CP pkg on 12/25 at 3:40pm. Shows as candlelight processional when I view the details.

Not sure if we're keeping this though. Christmas Eve may work out much better for us schedule wise, but I'm very torn on what to do. I loved attending the Candlelight on Christmas Day last year. I'm sure Christmas Eve will be just as magical.

But I feel very lucky to have this reservation either way.

Hi, :) I apologize if this has already been discussed.... I just did a search for candlelight processional dinner packages and it showed the list of the restaurants and Le cellier was on the list. Are they participating? I didn't think they were.

This will be our first trip going during the Christmas season. It will be just me and hubby going for our anniversary. So excited and hoping to see the processional.:goodvibes

I did call this morning and the CM asked me to call back tomorrow or Wednesday for the CP dinner packages.

Can anyone tell me if you have to pay for the package at the time of booking? Thanks.

It shows as a regular reservation on your reservations page after you've booked but if you click "View Details" it shows it's candlelight processional. It's weird.. the glitch still appears to be there for me.:confused3

I am not booking it ( I already have one and pretty sure we will be cancelling it) but I thought I would share.

Unless you book it specifically under the "Candlelight Processional" package, it's just a regular reservation. Try searching for the Fantasmic dining package to see how it looks. You cannot book any Candlelight Processional packages at the moment. Rumor has it they will open up tomorrow.

We are excited as this is our first time there during the holidays! We are going the beginning of December but are still waiting for the reservations to open up.

You are going to love it....Both the show and Disney at Christmas! We haven't been in December for so many years - usually go in November- and haven't seen the Candlelight Processional since 1999- so excited to be going this year and in early Dec too! Have a fantastic trip :)

I called today and talked to a CM (10am EST) nothing released at this time. She said to check back daily.

I just can't trust the online system for this one.

Was told by a CM dining and a CM DVC, tomorrow booking opens up!

Two sources...and "rumors" on these boards end of last week talking about this Tuesday, July 8th...

GOOD ENOUGH for me!:thumbsup2

Hope that everyone here gets the restaurant of their choice and ENJOYS THE SHOW! CAN'T WAIT NOW FOR DECEMBER!! YIPEE!:yay:

I'll be checking tomorrow morning!!!!!

Just wondering...is it "better" to call and get the reservation or to book it online? It seems faster on line. And is it 6am for the phone call reservation and 7am for online? I read that somewhere but may be wrong...

You will hear some people say that it's better to phone, but here's my experience last year. The day the packages were officially released, I called and tried to book a Via Napoli package. As a Canadian, the new website hadn't been released to us yet, so we couldn't book the package on the old site. The CM on the phone insisted that Via Napoli was NOT included in the package. I hung up and called back. The second CM said the same thing!! I was so mad because all the while, Americans were saying on the DIS that they booked Via Napoli online. I then downloaded Tunnel Bear (the program that allowed Canadians to get rerouted to the new Disney website everyone has now) and proceeded to book Via Napoli online - no problem! Bottom line....I try to book online whenever possible!!

6am online or 7am phone. So, online will be better, but there's no guarantee it will be available online tomorrow. It might only be available over the phone.

If tomorrow is indeed the day and there is nothing online at 6am, keep trying. In 2012 the packages weren't available online until 7am.

I just spoke with a CM a bit ago and they confirmed tomorrow is the day that booking will start for the Candlelight Processional. He said since I already had a restaurant reservation for the restaurant I want to just call in and they can modify it to be a Candlelight Processional Dinner Package instead of my doing it on the online system.

Would anyone say that is the best way since the CM told me by having the reservation I would have a better chance to get a spot or should I utilize the online system and cancel the other reservation after that?

I don't think this sounds correct - wouldn't everyone just book what they wanted at 180 and switch it once the package released?
