because I am a Disney planning spaz. I just found out that in 10 days I can book (room only) for my 2015 trip.
I can not wait. I can not wait I can not wait.

Is a standard room at club level ok, or do I need garden view? We don't care about the view as much as the walk to get to the pool/bus ect.

Thank you for answering my questions.
Garden view is not that much more than standard view. If you go during a good promotion time, the difference will definitely be worth it.

I know this question has been asked and answered a bunch of times but I can't find the answer... Does anyone know how many GV CL rooms are there at BC? Looking at the fifth floor layout it doesn't seem like there could be that many.

Also, I just booked a GV CL for August. I have stayed CL before, but I don't remember them contacting me or sending me a form.... I did email them prior with a few questions but that's it. Hey, do you think they could get me a Be Our Guest ADR?? I know:rotfl:

Hi again... tying up some loose ends before the weekend is over! I am responding to the concierge email and they had asked about requests. We prefer a balcony and a room that is not on the first floor. Are the CL rooms upper floors (so that I don't waste that request)? Also, is there anything in particular you recommend asking for in a standard view? We've never been in a CL room before so I have no idea what to expect. I did look at the room view thread and I thought it would be weird to request a specific room (and not likely to have that request fulfilled) but could I ask not to be put in room 5238? yikes!

Finally, is there such thing as a YC CL room closer to Epcot AND the Regatta Club?

Thanks so much, I really appreciate any insight you may have.

All regular club level rooms (that is, not deluxe or suites) are on the 5th floor, so you are all set.

You should have a room with a balcony at the YC.

I think rooms near the lounge, are near the elevator, so therefore near the lobby and thus about as close as you get to EPCOT. But I have never stayed at YC, I am just guessing on this.

You could try asking not to be put in a particular room. Couldn't hurt. That's better and easier to accommodate than asking to be put in a specific room.

:thumbsup2

I believe there are 9 BC CL GV rooms, all with full balconies.

Again, let them know you are looking for a BOG ADR. Can't hurt.

:goodvibes

I found CL staff have no extra powers anymore to snag an ADR that is unavailable. If there is availability they can book it.

We have the same problem. One band for AP one for Room. Do we need both bands or can we just combine the two? Does this mean we need to carry around 2 bands all the time?

No, your band should be linked to your hotel room and AP. If for some reason the band isn't opening your hotel door, then ask them to double check that the band is linked to the room.

All I know is all my bands were active with my first ressie and then on re-checkin the next day, none of them were and they had to all be added back in which was a pain since I had so many thinking they'd be interchangable. I wouldn't have activated so many and decorated them, if I'd known they would've needed to be activated again to get in the hotel room and change things.

*Briefly off topic here*
(But it has to do with transitioning from BC to YC)
I know there are probably a million threads about this on other boards, but admittedly, I like y'all more here, and I'm too lazy to go combing through.
On our August trip, we have 3 separate resort reservations. Are we going to need 3 sets of MBs? This seems like a pain, but might it keep things more organized? I'm picturing us getting stopped at a park on one of our "transition" days.
Any thoughts on this?

You won't need 3 sets, but you will have 3 sets. Any of the 3 will work for your entire stay. The Magic Bands don't have anything loaded on them. They are allowed to access what you have linked to your MDE account. Like your tickets, dining credits, room, etc. So any MBs that are active on your MDE account will have access. So it's not like MB #1 is only linked to your first resort, MB #2 is only linked to resort #2, etc. They are all linked to your MDE account.

People who have a trip with multiple resorts, and therefore multiple MBs, will get each MB in a different color and match their MB to what they are wearing.

Wow. Now why didn't I even think of that?? :rolleyes2 We will have 2 sets and I made the same colors for each for our split stay. But I still have time to change them. I like the idea of matching to my outfit.

One more day till we are at the yacht club. Praying that the weather holds out until we get there so we have no issues at the airport. Never spent my birthday at the magic kingdom before I can not get there fast enough!!

Happy Birthday

Great explanation dansdad. We have 6 boxes of MB's in our closet because of split stays. I tried some different ones in January and they did all access room at the end of our trip (resort #3).

I went in my MDE account and deactivated (posted as lost) on a bunch of them just to keep myself organized.

:bday:And LMO429.....Have a Blast!:bday:

I have one in every color now and 2 orange ones!! I do just that... color coordinate!!

I found out a couple of weeks ago that our neighbours are going to The world just before us. They have only been once before, two years ago, so today I popped across the road just to check that they had customised their Magic Bands. Eeeks, they had no idea that such things existed, let alone could be customised and never heard of Fastpass+!

They are going to be your best friends FOREVER!!!!

I have a Baby Jogger double stroller we don't need anymore. We are at the BC til tomorrow am if anyone wants it, message me.

I love this, the girls and I can coordinate our outfits with some of the MBs (DH won't care one way or the other). I made sure that we had at least 1 color in our household minus the grey one (I like color ;)). We are going to have 3 sets of MBs for our upcoming trip and I am extremely happy to say that we got our first set today in the mail . 25 more days until we are at our beloved BC :cloud9:.

So, to put it plainly, if everyone in 1 family, staying in the same room has charging priveleges, all the magic bands are interchangeable? We can trade colors?

I'm gonna say you could, but last time I was there... when I entered they said have a good day Nannette! So they can tell who is who when you scan it in.

Thanks Nannette! We'll probably just stick to wearing the ones that we each picked. In the big scheme of things, just being there will be great!
