Does anyone know when WDW will put out the packages for 2015? I did not know that if I booked my room only and then change to a package they would cancel and refund and recharge. Also if they cancel my current reservation could CL GV be sold out and I not get it?

Leaving tomorrow for a very long awaited vacation. We are looking forward to staying CL at the YC for the very first time.:cool1:
Awesome! You'll love it. We all did! :thumbsup2

July usually is the month that Disney officially releases 2015 prices/packages. I seriously doubt that it would be sold out that quickly. But you may want to tell your travel agent to make sure she rebooks you asap for your own piece of mind.

Hi Beach Club family!!:wave2: We've been busy planing an AKL stay in September for myself and my youngest daughter and my sister and nephew. She is a single mommy, but really wanted to take him, so I gladly volunteered to take dd with her ;) :cool1:

However!!! The hubby and I will celebrate 10 years of marriage next May! So we have decided to book a Familymoon! We want our daughters to celebrate with us. We have decided to take on a much more relaxed view for this trip. Deluxe dining, no rushing (maybe two things to accomplish each day), lots of pool time, the kids want to rent one of those four person bikes (oh boy lol) etc. dh and I will also make use of Sandcastle club and go out on our actual anniversary. My oldest wanted something new and my youngest wanted beach club. Their solution? Yacht Club :lmao: lol. We love walkig to Epcot, so this is a great compromise. So we will have our first stay at Yacht Club May 5-16!

My girls are wondering, does it smell the same as Beach Club? Lol.. See you soon!!

This past week has been horrendous for our family....our youngest daughter broke her wrist and is in a cast for the next two and a half weeks and today our oldest daughter broke her pinky toe....completely broke one of the bones in two. Tomorrow we get to see the orthopedic doctor for the second time in a week. We leave for our WDW trip in three weeks. Hopefully everyone will be healed by the time we leave. :scared:

In an effort to cheer myself up, I started booking our FP+ reservations today. FYI...we purchased our tickets thru the Y.E.S. program (Youth Education Series) and I was able to link them to MDE (totally didn't think I'd be able to do this)! And I was able to get SDMT FP's for our trip! Yay!!!! I posted this amazing news on my FB page then realized 99% of my FB friends don't give a hoot about WDW FP's. I knew my YC/BC peeps would appreciate this!

I can't wait for our trip and to be back at the BC. :yay::yay::yay:

Good night!

I'm so sorry to hear about your girls but happy to hear that your FB friends don't care about FP's, because you know what that means....more FP+ for you . Have an awesome trip and I hope your girls feel better, it stinks to have things like this happen right before a trip .

Do they sometimes put CL guests on other floors by request? I'm not interested in doing this - just curious. When we were there in 2011 we met a family several times in the CL lounge and pool so we became acquaintances. They said they come every September and stay CL. But, they always request a 1st floor room that overlooks the courtyard behind the resort. And, actually we were staying CL that year and we were placed on the 2nd floor. So, I thought the CL rooms were located all over the resort. But now it sounds like everyone staying CL is on the 5th floor....just curious.

We were at the Y&B this January during the regular marathon. The biggest impact was getting to MK Saturday morning. We left the hotel @ 8:20 or so & then sat on the road to MK for about 45 mins. We were then left off at the parking for off site hotels @ the TTC. That area was packed & they were directing everyone to either the monorail or ferry. You had to go where they sent you- no choice. Didn't get into MK til after 9:30. The resort never explained the transportation problems we would have (we stayed club level). We are planning to go back next year the same weekend. Now that we know, we will plan to head into Epcot & take the monorail or head out a little later.

Also you had to use the boats to DS, walkway was closed during the marathons. It was fun seeing the runners in the parks & around the resort areas however. One other thing: they did set off fireworks when each corral set off on Sunday (5:30 ish). So we did get woken up early but we were able to get back to sleep.

I didn't notice when you're staying (sorry). It may not be totally sold out normally but as of a few weeks ago ALL Lagoon/Water view rooms (including CL) at YC during Pres Day Week 2015 were unavailable (sold out or reserved, I'm not sure). So, there MAY be less availability than normal. But, again, I'm writing only about Presidents Day week (which is also the week leading up to the Princess Half Marathon weekend)

Possibly they stay in a suite. The suites aren't all on the CL floor.

All regular CL rooms (standard view, garden view and water view) are on the fifth floor. The deluxe CL rooms are on the first, second, third and fourth floors. The one bedroom and two bedroom suites are located on the first, second, third and fourth floors.

What is Sandcastle Club?

It is located on the first floor past the Marketplace. You need reservations. It's for babysitting services. However, be warned. Once you put your child there for an evening, they will want to come back every night. That place is amazing ... such fun for the kids!!!!!

This is quite funny to me, I was just coming on here to ask you a question about the Sandcastle Club and here you are answering a question about it:)

My question is do they still have the open house from 1 to 3 pm daily, also during the open house would my 2 1/2 year old grandson be able to come?
I know at night it is 3 and up to 12, but what I read for the open house says fun for the "Whole Family". We are thinking this might be something to do if it happens to be raining in the early afternoon. Take the kids there and do some arts and crafts!

Only 18 days to go until we are back at the BC!!!

Thanks for your help.

Ok Peeps.....help me out here.

We are having the Fantasmic dining lunch package at HBD on July 24 in order to get seating for Fantasmic. It's the only night we can fit it in to our schedule. We also have a 5:35pm ADR at Artist Point that night. Fantasmic shows at 9 & 10:30. I know the reserved seating is only for the first show. Do you think we'll have enough time to make it in time for the reserved seating? If not, I guess we could stand in line for the later show. Also, what transportation would you use? We'll be staying at YC and have cars available. Would a taxi directly to DHS from WL be better? I'm over planning as I usually do!!

We always go in June. never do the dining package for F! and always go the 10:30 show without waiting or arriving early...Is 10:30 an option? could eat cheaper for lunch too....or do the dinner I think you are fine to get there to DHS for a 9 show

javail - enjoyed the trip report.

Was happy to see more snack offerings listed for CL.

Hope they are still there in a few weeks.

I would go with the taxi from WL to DHS and I think you will be fine.
Two great choices!

There is no such thing as OVER planning!
