Be sure you are traveling with documents that authorize you to act on the behalf of her parents in case of an emergency. You will need to check to see if these documents will need to be notarized. You can find templates for these documents on LawDepot (dotcom)
A list of known allergies if any would be helpful. Any medications that are taken daily or in case of emergency (Epi pen or asthma inhaler) and clear instructions on how & when to use them.

A list of alternate contact info in case you can not reach the parents for any reason..

Thanks so much for the info, our main concern was what kind of document/permission we would need and if it had to be notarized.

My mom and I are going on our first ever girls only trip May 14-18 and we are staying at the Beach Club. Can't wait to be back there, it's definitely the best place to stay!

Sorry to hear you were not that happy with CL service in the lounge. Were you able to go up as often as you'd like for refills that CM was pouring? Or, we're refills limited? Also, we're food trays replaced as things were eaten? Or, was it a case of "when it's gone, it's gone."

As far as I could tell, refills were not limited. However, if you're taking a glass of wine back to your room, it's not terribly convenient to have to go back to the lounge for another "very small" refill.

The evening food offerings were limited and were pretty much almost gone by 6:30 or before. As for the night time desserts, they fell into the "when it's gone, it's gone" category long before the lounge closed at 10:00. When we stayed CL at the WL this past December, there was so much food that the CMs were almost begging us to take as much as we wanted.

We've been staying Club Level at several resorts since 2004 and the experience is definitely losing some of the "magic", at least at the YC, Poly and GF Sugarloaf. The overall CL experience at the WL, this past December, was the best we've had in several years.

I am taking my dad for his birthday 10/19 - 10/23. We are staying at YC and excited for F&W and MNSSHP for sure. This is my way of thanking him for all the WDW trips he took me on when I was younger. It's nice to be able to pay it back!

He's already VERY excited. The other day we went to lunch and he was wearing his Mickey Mouse Hawaiian shirt. Today he called me while he was watching the Disney Vacation Planning DVD I sent him.

Did you book the trip yourself through Disney or through a Travel Agent? If you booked through Disney, call them right away and have them indicate it on your reservation. If you booked through a Travel Agent ask him/her to do it for you as soon as possible.

If you do online check in you can request a full balcony then. It was one of the options on the list of special room requests.
