Hi all, I’m sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere in this thread but I couldn’t find it. Are there poolside servers that will take your order for food and drinks? We’e stayed at BC many times and found the convenience of this to be amazing. Thanks! This is our first stay at GF (arrive tomorrow) and plan to spend a lot of this weekend at the pool.....

That is exactly what I did! I purged all 1.0 bands (like you mentioned), all 2.0 bands from 2017, and old AP cards and MNSSHP/MVMCP cards. I am under 20 bands and cards now!

I called the WDW Internet Help Desk (407-939-4357‬). The CMs were very patient and would confirm the color of the band before removing it. I repeated it for my family members (after they authorized me since they have their own accounts). The bands were gone immediately. Good luck!

A cm at gf did that for me 1 1/2 years ago. She took the time to do it

It’s the kids’ last day of school here.

It was gorgeous today! Much cooler than we expected too. Felt more like 70’s not 80’s . A nice breeze helped.

So RPC! We were met outside and escorted up. We just missed breakfast. Dd and I shopped a bit then she decided to go for a run.

I looked and could not find a cm so I knocked on their door . I explained we just checked in and dd ditched me for a run could I possible get come sparkling wine while I wait for dd’s return? Ashley was great!

I love the tomato soup and had 2 bowls! Our room was ready around 12:20 and I got my request to be on the side facing poly and also got 4th floor which is nice..

I went out to courtyard pool for 1/2 hr. Dd was beat from working extra hours all week. At 3 we went out for scones then had appies at 5. Then to MK and back at 8p.

Saw some new appetizers. Mini crab cakes ??? Yum!

Desserts, again new ones!

I could see the poly version of Ewp from my balcony and I am currently listening to the band from my room. I LOVE THAT!

Since disboards is doing an update maybe our pix will post easier after so I’ll wait until then to post.

Patty has been here 31 years! No wonder I recognize her.

Hi Trish! I'll be at the GF in less than 2 weeks, but not concierge. Unless I get some pixie dust... Going on a solo trip this time and have never been in June. Just hoping the crowds (and more importantly, the HEAT) are manageable. Lucky you to have such a great first day, even weather-wise!!

How exciting...Yes the courtyard pool will actually take your order and bring you a drink in the pool. The waterfall pool will serve you in your seat, table or cabana but you are not allowed drinks in that pool. Have a magical trip!

Just curious - what was the bad experience at Poly?

Had a ground floor room - so our patio opened up to a walkway where it was busy - primarily with garbage removal.

OMG! I do the same thing...my DH went on a business trip, I wasn't around when he packed and he took the ponchos with him..

Too funny....my DH would do the same thing...lol. I always go through the whole suitcase before packing just to make sure nothing is hiding, but my DH just packs and goes .

Sounds like a great first day! Glad your room requests were met.....looking across the lagoon at the Poly is my favorite view .

Have a great trip! I have my fingers crossed my late September stay doesn't get canceled. Trying to go with the kids, so I am just keeping my fingers crossed everyone gets off work.

We will be arriving at the GF in 19 days and are so excited that our countdown has finally hit the teens! We are staying in a studio for the first time so I'm nervous it won't feel the same as our last trip. That being said, we can't wait to return!

Thank you! I'm excited to try YC, but I do understand how you feel. As much as I like trying new resorts, it is sometimes hard to venture out from what you know/love. I really enjoyed trying BWI last June and I'm looking forward to trying YC in 2 weeks, but the Poly will always be my favorite (although BWI does run a very close second to Poly) .
